Kaylash: I think you should send them a mail. My mum applied from Nigeria. Wondering if you followed the covid-19 instructions (to enter COVID-19 as purpose of visit on the application form) for immediate family members of Citizens/PRs.

pamelaa:yes we entered purpose of visit as COVID-19. But I didn’t send them any mail. I thought since we picked COVID-19 as purpose of visit that already settles it. Did you send an email? Sorry for all the many qstns |

Kaylash: Maybe they're still working on your mum's application. I didn't send a mail. But you can send a mail just as a reminder. |

daks02:I have no idea of how they process stuff. Some people who just applied got their visas earlier than those who have applied for months, and we are all PRs. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by pamelaa(f): 8:19pm On Nov 15, 2020 |
Kaylash: Seriously I think you should send a mail. I've seen people on other forums with similar timeline as my mum's. They're prioritizing applications of immediate family members of Citizens/PRs. |

You'll get another mail from VFS stating that the decision envelop for your application has been received and is ready for collection. When you get the mail, you can call VFS or chat with them requesting for instructions on how to pay for their courier delivery service. You'll be sent another mail containing their account details, courier request form and other instructions.
