You should try IRELAND. The have opportunity for midwives.
don't you think she can apply for adult nursing in the uk based on her 18 months post basic training, especially looking at her comment on number 4

I really don't know about pharmacists, but I there was a thread I followed some time ago that talked about it.
You can always check for their sites. I have discovered that in UK, they put everything online.

What about for social workers, can someone get a job as soon as they are done with school and written IELTS? Even without any experience?
Re: Adventures Of A UK Bound Nurse by TheLasyBuddha: 4:56pm On Oct 27, 2020
crushsugar:

It depends on the job.
When they need you, you'll get it.
There are other jobs on the shortage occupation list.
You can check them out.
It's just about your arrangements.
Was having a certain amount of money a requirement during any of your application process?

I just graduated as a social worker. I haven't had any job experience, no money yet, would I still be considered?

1. The part 2 exam is OSCE done in specific centres within the UK, about 3. It has to be done here

2. You don't need experience anymore with nmc but just have your credentials.

3. Yes I do

Sorry for taking you really back. In response to the second question you answered; what about for social workers, do you mean one doesn't need to have any experience at all to be employed in the UK?

Thanks for this very educative thread.

My question is that.
1. Do you think I have to go and do a fresh wedding at the court because my wedding certificate got missing.
Although it was done in a church but was issued by the federal government of Nigeria.

2. I have been using my father's name because of nursing council problem. But intends to travel with my husband and son. What do you suggest

Note: all id card and Bank account is in my husband's name. Only my result and nursing council details are still in my father's name.

I know one and i also know its easier to secure a job there as a midwife than a General Adult Nurse.
if you have your English Language Result, you can go ahead and register with the NMBI.

Good day House, thanks to everyone here providing clarity on this our general pursuit of Happiness. Please I am here on behalf of my aunt she is 58years she is currently a Matron at a private hospital but I want to know if she stands a chance in practicing in the abroad.
She is a Registered Nurse she did her nursing school @ OAU as far back as 1985, she is currently in 300l studing BNSC @ Lautech.

I have tried reading through the threads but I have not a single clue about anything cuz I am in a totally different field I would really appreciate if someone can just tell if there is a route for her and how to go about helping her sort it out.

God bless

Hello house, a friend got a job to resume in the UK January. She is through with the entire process just waiting to get Visa and travel. But her license expires this December.

Must she renew before travelling in January?
Or can she travel with it as it had already been verified during the process?

Thank you.

If she intends to come back and practice in Nigeria, then she can go ahead and renew, otherwise there is no need as she won't be needing it for anything.

Please can someone with a "school of Nursing" qualification get to practice nursing in the UK?
Re: Adventures Of A UK Bound Nurse by tolajay: 9:57pm On Nov 15, 2020
If she can, let her apply for the renewal.

Not essentially because of the UK processing but for some other unforeseen reasons.

Best!

Yes!

That's the major qualification.

Do yourself a favour by reading the full thread for better comprehension. Most of the questions you'd have, have been answered.

In my opinion, she needs to renew it.

Reason being that, it’s part of the documents you’ll need to take along for OSCE exam day verification.
