I don't know what is wrong with my kit rabbits of a month old. They are eating, drinking and doing well, then suddenly they will just be losing weight until they will die.
Please what can I do...




Update: A thread I created sometimes ago about my rabbit eye is fine now, it seems the sharp netting stabbed the cornea of the eye, thus bursting it. Thorough cleaning of the affected eye has improved it now, though not looking exactly like the same eye, it can still see. Thanks for your help.

you don't drug rabbits anyhow.

make sure ur feed is grower, preferably vita feed grower of Bella feed for rabbits. and give them food once a day, their digestive tract is still tiny and rabbits eat a lot too and greedy not minding their health.

But I give them food two times daily-
Feed in the morning and grass in the evening.
What month should I wean rabbits

I'm thinking coccidiosis or bloat.. get embacoc for them, that's an antibiotic.. Follow the instructions.. one question, what do u feed

wean them 6weeks. if the kits are more than 5, wean at 8weeks.
for weaners, stop leaves, it causes bloat for them. bloat is best prevented than cured. in case of bloat use KC BLOAT. 0.5ML, but avoid bloat. it is caused by overseeing of feed or grass. little feed in the morning. half a cup is enough for each rabbit for each day

cocc is caused by dirty cage in rabbitary, if he is rearing chickens too, he should attend to rabbits first before chicken.

I don't rear chickens.
I always clean the cages every morning.
I give them multivitamins.
I was told here to deworm them, so I used deworm, I applied it to their water and the little kit which was weak yesterday is now strong now. I lost about 10 kits out of 13 for like two weeks now, the rest are doing well now.I will try as much as possible to get Embacoc and KC bloat.
