Didn't Amaju charge these guys to put 4 or more past Sierra Leone?

Rohr's days are numbered...

Its half time in Freetown.

The pitch is not helping matters at all. And the SE are not imposing enough. Our passing kind of game is not working here.
The pitch has suited the Sierra-Leonean kick and follow more.

If our boys can move their game up a gear we can win this one.
Exactly

What a continent the leaders have sworn that the people can never enjoy anything, from the simplest of things like water to ordinary football match that seems to be the only thing that brings joy to the people. Now what do we call the pitch and coverage of this match between Sierra Leone and Nigeria?

The way we are playing? Abi it's a different match I'm watching. This leone guys are strong defensively and had better goal scoring chances than the super eagles.
They are playing kick and rush but we are moving the ball in the midfield. All we need is another clear cut chance and we are good to go. We need better physicality and attacking option on Aina's wing as that is the focal point of their attack. They are probably targeting his height

Aribo is good but Rohr does not know how to use him. He is not fully used to African football and plays well in a certain pattern.
ROHR SHOULD BE DRIVEN OUT BEFORE HE RUINS US. HE HAS REACHED HIS LIMITS. HIS TACTICAL KNOWLEDGE IS VERY POOR. IT IS NOT ABOUT THE PLAYERS IT IS ABOUT THE COACHING

onuachu is good but rohr doesn't know how to use him

Aribo is good but rohr doesn't know how to use him..

Abeg e let's cut rohr some slacks... the fact that aribo is not used to aggressive football is no fault of rohr.. if I were him, I would even bench him and put in someone with more physical strength. but unfortunately, we have no replacements

How can you even run with the ball on a pitch like this? I think this match needs Onachu. Remove Musa put Onachu, substitute Akpos for Awaziem. Tell Aina and Awaziem to Long the ball to Onachu's head. I am sure he will score at least one in five of those balls to his head. You can't expect players like Aina, Iwobi, Aribo, Akpos, Balogun, Ekong to pass around on this type of pitch. Nearly impossible!

Thanks for this honest assessment. Maybe Rohr should use Liverpool style to raise Aribo aggression grin

I am not sure we will win this match oo.
jeez.
the pitch is bleeped up. that pitch looks like a football pitch street football clubs use, with just a little bit of grass. I am very sure the grass is even carpet grass that itches someone when you lie on it.
No wonder the leone players were happy when they drew us. they knew we have no chance with this nonsense pitch.

in as much as I have not been satisfied with onuachu's performance in gwg, I can't agree less with you on this.

our guys lack the physicality to push the ball up front effectively... and unfortunately, we lack technically astute guys that can tactically go beyond the Leone stars..

so maybe... longball - onuachu head - Insha Allah ... may work out here cheesy

Rohr is so inept. He lacks simple coaching intelligence. And he shows no sign of improvement.

It's so sad we're stuck with him
