Karlovich: If you blame the players based on both games then I really don't know what to say to you. Do you have better players than this. It's obvious our coach is not fit to coach my High school football team based on the game in Benin. And today's game has many factors starting from the community stadium we used, to the stupid ref. My Honest opinion Gernot Rohr should just leave abeg |

Time for Rohr to go and the team disbanded. Imagine Iheanacho,a bench warmer for ordinary Leicester playing full time and consistently under performing, when we have very good ballers like Olayinka, Moffi and Mukairu. Our marking since 2016 has been poor and since the exit of Moses, Mikel and Ighalo, we haven't got any player with similar experience, skill and composure. Musa's days are over. Too many defenders and wingers. Few options in central attack and the midfield. My high school team, CKC ,played far better football than these over pampered and relaxed team |

The way I see Pinnick, he has no intention of sacking Rohr. It's like he signed a blood covenant with him till 2022. I see Sunday Dare prevailing on Pinnack in the coming days to let Rohr go |

My Observation The coaching crew together with the team performed better than their last outing which was a show of shame. The inputs of Yobo was observable as the defence limited and rightly blunted the Leones stars attack. The keeper also showed a bit of composure compared to his previous games Defense: Did their duty together with the keeper. Towards the ending, with the Leones hoofing the ball higher, the coach added Awaziem who won a lot of Aerial balls. However, Aina's wing remains suspect as he was poor aerial-wise but he made up for it with good tactical awareness. This is where he trumps Sanusi for me. Ekong decision making was suspect as usual but a strong game overall. Balogun again controlled the defence bringing in the discipline he left at home on the 13th of November. Akpoguma was OK. He was just OK. Not much of an improvement on what we have already but did his bit for the team. Midfield: if we have a midfield at all then I will be surprised. The NT lack midfielders and it is a serious problem which should be rectified from grassroots soccer. When you meet a Nigerian kid and ask him his position, it is either defense or attack . Etebo did his bit. He was everywhere and nowhere. His height was his major undoing. Wouldn't be surprised if he lost more aerial balls in this game than in his career. Aribo again showed that African aggressive football wasn't for him but what can we do . Tried his ground passes in the beginning but after the coach tweaked things, started hoofing it up.Musa was named as an attacker but played midfield. It was a normal day in the office for the captain. But I think if he should continue being listed , let it be as a midfielder so as to free up attacking space. Attack:Nacho blew hot and cold. Nice swing in the dying embers of the game but poor and stupid miss. Chuks today showed why he is heads above other wingers. His decision making which was usually suspect was great.Iwobi was just their. He provided exquisite crosses though and was one of the nice players in this game. And yes, the energy was there today Conclusion: For players who were demoralized, they played excellently and only a sadist will say, that they deserve to lose. The officiating was horrible with the referee incorrectly (my opinion) awarding an offside.Severally, he paused the Eagles counter attack for flimsy excuses. The Coaching crew also did their job by tightening up when they should. Good job Rohr and Yobo with bribe chopping Salisu. We mooove |

I will take the bad pitch argument, which i believe is grossly exaggerated. Rohr should have seen it and found a way set up his team for a win. Oh sorry, i forgot, Rohr has absolutely no idea how to set up on this kind of pitches. But don't give me that physical bullshit. . Na now you know say Sub-sahara African countries dey play physical? smartsmith0907: |
