UltimateDreamer:

Reprehensible.... absolutely reprehensible...
Those soldiers must be fished out and publicly punished for their actions.
This is not allowed in any sane democracy.

ps. we are still waiting for public information on the prosecution of the so called captain and soldiers who murdered police personnel and freed a kingpin kidnapper in public view; to the greatest shock of all sane Nigerians, the NA and Nigeria's AGF seem to be shielding these culprits.
So when Nigerians begin to make generalizations about the distraught state of the NA, how do people defend the NA when a case as glaring as the murder of police personnel still hasn't been publicly prosecuted. Is it because the rot eats deep?
An apologist might say "oh the NA have their rules" to which a sane person says, that's bunkum; and even if it were true that the NA has its rules, soldiers and a captain accused of being kidnap-ring assailants and police-murderers should be profusely punished in public in order to restore a level of respect for the NA and prevent people from generalizing that the NA is corrupt.
Its possible that the accused soldiers and their captain are in a dungeon somewhere but again the secrecy behind this whole issue leads the public to make up their own stories about how the NA protects its own; its own in this case are accused of being kidnap-ring assailants and police-murderers
If the NA "has its rules"
public opinion has its own rules too

"One good soldier against evil
We call it valiant when a gun holding soldier shoots a gun holding terrorist
What do we call a soldier that speaks up for the unarmed he swore to protect
Lance Corporal Harrison Friday - One good soldier"

Here is a soldier that has been publicly arrested, humiliated and labelled a criminal by the NA
what's his crime? he asked his fellow soldiers to stay true to their oath and not turn their guns on innocent civilians
meanwhile soldiers accused of been kidnap-ring assailants and police-murderers are enjoying silence.
On this case, its nothing but shame, absolute shame.

Shallom
Allahu akbar
God is good
Some will still find fault in this

OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE: AIR TASK FORCE INFLICTS HEAVY CASUALTIES ON BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS IN SAMBISA FOREST AREA

1. The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has inflicted heavy casualties on Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno State. This was achieved through multiple air strikes executed on 14 November 2020 at 2 locations - Gobara and the Sambisa ‘S’ Region - in the vicinity of the Forest that were being used by the BHTs as logistics bases as well as staging areas to launch attacks.

2. Consequently, the ATF dispatched appropriate force packages of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) attack aircraft to engage the target areas. Several BHTs were spotted under the dense vegetation of the locations as the NAF jets took turns in attacking the targets, neutralizing some of them.

3. The Armed Forces of Nigeria will not relent until all enemies of the Nation are neutralised and normalcy is restored to all troubled zones.

MULTINATIONAL JOINT TASK FORCE RECEIVES ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FROM EUROPEAN UNION

1. In fulfilment of its pledge to provide additional support to enhance the operational efficiency of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), the European Union (EU) has provided Command, Control, Communication and Information Systems (C3IS) equipment to the Force. In line with the agreement for implementation of this support, a training has been jointly organised by the service providers and Force Headquarters for personnel who would operate the C3IS equipment across the MNJTF Sectors. While declaring the training opened, the Force Commander, Major General Ibrahim Manu Yusuf commended the EU for the provision of the C3IS equipment, describing it as ‘most critical’ to enhancing the operational performance of the troops in the field.

2. The Force Commander expressed appreciation for the additional support, which is closely related to the recent provision of Helicopters and Petroleum Oil and Lubricants (POL) through the framework of African Union to MNJTF. The C3IS project will enable conveyance of classified messages and communication through the secured net, he added. Continuing, General Yusuf equally commended the service providers for the display of resilience and vigour in the execution of the project.

3. The Force Commander assured the EU that all the support provided will be optimally utilised in accordance with the global best practices to enhance the operational efficiency of the troops. He therefore urged the Sector Commanders, in whose custody the equipment will be, to ensure proper utilisation, maintenance and safety of the equipment.

4. To the trainees, General Yusuf implored them to pay attention and apply themselves fully to the training procedures and processes. “As the pioneer trainees, you are expected to learn and strictly understand how to operate the equipment, as you will be the one to install it at sector level”, he said. On its part, HQ MNJTF has taken steps to provide alternative power supply at the Sector HQs in order to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the communication equipment.

5. When completed, the C3IS system is expected to enable rapid deployment of strategic and operational communication capabilities within the MNJTF Area of Operation.

BREAKING:

BokoHaram leader Shekau releases new video days after Nigerian Army launched fresh manhunt against him & his field commanders; said “Nobody can apprehend me. But if this is the case, it will not end the war,".
NB: He look so timid & under pressure in the said video.
“A subdued BokoHaram’s Shekau appears in a propaganda video days after the NA launched a manhunt of kill or capture. The weary looking leader dressed in ISWAP style Khaki may be seeking refuge with his battlefield enemies against the common enemy the NA.
“The undying Shekau in new video with a setting rare for him since 2012. He has usually been in outdoor settings with his fighters beside him or rooms giving monologues.
