I think you will be putting yourself in a very difficult situation.

While she does full time, you can also work 20hours during term time to support yourselves. But it better to have at least a year tuition fee and also some balances for maintenance as there is no guarantee of a job immediately you get in or even a month after.

I am not sure of any establishment or finance house that gives loan to an international student (and you are not entitled to public funds)

You might need to go back to the drawing board.

I have been seriously troubled at heart lately. By God's grace, January 2021, I shall be coming to the UK with my spouse for masters prog at Edinburgh. I am worried because she is pregnant going to 4months and we just have roughly 2m for survival when we land. From my calculations, after settling down and other factors, her due date would be close by. Obviously, i would be the only one to be working during this period.
I just want to ask if the IHS fees paid covers delivery/maternity?
Are there any benefits for child deliver?
Will this funds plus the little hours i hope to work be okay for us pending when she ll be fit to assist?
Please those with living experience over there kindly advice me.

Better still, Postpone your studies- You must not resume now.

Very realistic write up .... with little children especially babies and a desire to work as a means of survival is very very hard

This one go hard o, your options are very limited...but to make it work you need to find a way of increasing your survival money before coming o, 2m Naira is not plenty.

Make a financial plan that will carry you for at least 6 months without a UK job...

I guess the closest place to the Hospital is Upton. You can try looking for a place in Birkenhead (where i live). Its just 10 minutes drive from the Hospital. Apologies can't be of more help, I'm a JJC myself

This is covid time when so much restriction.... why would anyone sleep with anyone for passport renewal.

If your passport expires in Germany, I am sure most employers and other sectors will accommodate .

Some times our people are the cause of these problems by encouraging nonsense . If you sleep your way through in naija, you now come abroad and don't want to let go of such nonsense and then still keep thinking sleeping way is the only solution instead of thinking of other legal alternatives
