Speak of what you know bro. You do not need ATM pin to use ATM for web transactions. card details, expir date and 'Security' NUNBER are all that is required by the fraudsters to siphon your money.

Most of the foreign e-commerce sites you don't need otp or pin to make purchases.

Only front and back of your card.

The banks force you to do internet banking. If you want to move funds from that your big account and you go to the bank, they will tell you to download their app that they no longer do transactions over the counter. I encountered that with two different banks.
LikeAking:
The account wey your big money dey should not be activated for internet banking, etc.

Keep you bank account sim at home.

Follow the first stuff I wrote and u will be fine.

LOL......Once your PAN (16 digits), CVV2 and Expiry date are exposed, the ATM is exposed already.

Please forget PIN, it only applies to local transactions, it's an interswitch security measure. Most Int'l platforms don't need pin to debit your account.

Be wise. Please stay safe.

those accounts not activated for internet banking are usually emptied by insiders in the bank and before you find out its too late.

In addition
Have a small android phone that'll be at home always cos you gats use internet banking app to monitor your account balance or make transfers. Na dormant account bank people dey empty.
I use a separate account for my atm and POS transactions. Highest amount I can leave there is 20k.

Cheers To Tor Browser and Onion VPN

You said USA sites and I asked you to mention em then you come up here telling me ill man shits
As someone who buys domain names from USA companies/websites like GoDaddy, Epik, Dynadot, etc, He is correct.
Only these three details are needed.

16 digit code at the front.
3 digit security code at the back.
The expiry month and year of the card as displayed on the card.

No OTP or ATM PIN!

Cheers wink

In almost all websites you'll need otp for the first transaction.
Subsequently, this can be waived, but not the first time

Fraudsters this days don't need ur pin or otp.
The only information they need is ur card details especially that 3 digit number at d back of ur card which is more important in there fraudulent act.

That's why banks advise you to keep your card safe (not just the PIN). If you doubt it, trying posting your CVv2, PAN and expiry date on an open forum and see the wonders that'd follow.

NB: Make sure you don't have more than you can afford to lose in the account.

Can you educate me more?

Do you mean, my cash will be deducted without me getting alerts?

And let's assumes it happens that way, can't you sue the bank for negligence or something?

This is all the sense there is in this thread.

Your primary savings account should for no reason have any link with any online banking or even card stuff.

I don't even have an ATM card on my primary account. Every other account where I have an ATM card or make use of to transact online is called an EXPENSE Account to me and they have limited amount that I scatter on all of them. None still has bulk cash.
