I don't know about "stupidity/pride"...but like u I have never been accosted let alone arrested by the now defunct SARS. And neither has anyone I know. So while I had absolutely no qualms with the protests, I couldn't quite understand how SARS just go on to arrest people. And I'm a heavy night crawler.

Please is there anyone here who can tell us the real reason for this delay in payment of ROI? All my calls and messages are being replied with 'please exercise some patience, you will be paid'. It seems the MBA staff are not getting their salary as well, cus one female staff I have her contact was lamenting and seeking for help on her WhatsApp status. But all the same I believe everyone will be paid soon. God will not allow us lose our hard earned money.

Now it’s not ‘payment within 14-21 days period’ it’s AFTER 14-21 days transition period. Something is definitely wrong somewhere.

But tbh, some Nigerians can be stupid! A very junior colleague was almost beaten blue and black by soldiers at a checkpoint some months back...why? At the checkpoint, he questioned the soldiers' authority to conduct their usual check on his vehicle, and even refused to open his trunk to be searched! It took intervention for him to be spared...after two or three belts had already landed on his back! Las las, he still opened his trunk for them to search!

Many Nigerians are like that...they turned themselves to suspects with their behaviors!

Then, I have to agree with you that I'm 'shallow' and ignorant to some extent...we are all, except if you're Mr. Know All!
