FloxySmart: Hello Everyone, I must commend, this is one of the most active threads I’ve seen here on NL. It was an amazing read as I read through most of your experiences (couldn’t read all though ). The journey was so educative, informative and very hilarious can’t remember the number of times I burst out laughing, y’all are doing an amazing job. I’m most intrigued with how you help each other out on getting difficult cases fixed, it’s more like a family kind of thing. Make una no change o, una dey do well But one thing though I noticed most of the experience shared here on riders is mostly on the bad side and only very few users share how kind or good a rider was to them. Reading through many of your shared experiences I personally would have thought most riders are maniacs and a self centered opportunist, and any new driver could possibly have the same notion there by might go into the hustle with an aggressive mentality on the rider Abi I’m not making sense ni?
You are not far from the truth though, but sometimes we do share how good some riders are to us as well, I hope you saw one of us spoke about how some riders gave him treat even though he was sceptical about their intentions and several good ones like that, but then it's a general understanding that bad events teaches us more lessons than good events, and most time the bad events we report here is not to make prospective driver/partner aggressive but rather to make them vigilant and learn from other people's plight. Thanks for your input. 9 Likes |

eherbal: I've just spoken
with him now.ill suggest we put the calls on hold, pending when this issues will be resolved. I was made to understand that the debtor used his friend's bolt app to request you, hence he's not owing you. He said he's spoken to you and your disposition was not friendly.he said the most painful part was that his bolt app has been blocked after you reported him,and you're still making claims. He also said he can personally send you the dough as soon as his app is active once again. The debtor is a video director not a yahoo boy Pls bro try and find a middle with him before the bombardments starts.thanks Cc chucsmore and the bombing crew I jus spoke with him now and he said the same thing as u said above but was not happy that various ppl are calling him. So after speaking with he said u should call him now that he wants to talk to you then he will make the payment immediately but under condition that his account will b unblocked immediately else he is going to take the matter up with you. Jus call him now and liase with him. 2 Likes |

FloxySmart: And Speaking on getting into the business. I have a younger brother that I’ll like to start this hustle as well. He’s a very skilled hairstylist, his dreams has always been to settle down in Lagos but he has only been here a couple of times, I will say he has zero knowledge of Lagos axis. So my questions are: 1. Can he drive around Lagos with reliance on just Gmap and other navigation systems only? 2. I intend to upgrade my second car with a deal from my auto dealer for him to use for this work, So how feasible is it for him to remit 80k monthly and still be able to save something good for his intended business 3. And can he register with a temporary Driver's license And I’m open to any suggestions and contributions Thanks and God bless Question 1. Google map will help 50% the other 50 is by asking questions and being very careful before taking any traffic decision. 2. I’ll advise u make it 60k for a start then in 3 months time u can make it to 80 or thereabout. 3. Yes u can start with temp card on bolt till the permanent card is out. Bonus: please avoid corolla. Asking question and being bold is also what he needs to flow well in this biz. Best of luck 1 Like |

No. There are plenty good riders and there’s really no point talking about them because they don’t give us problems....yet. If we talk about every rider both good and bad, the pages would be around 10k by now. So we only talk about the ones that give problems and possibly alert comrades of behavior exhibited. We are riders too so it’s not a ‘drivers against riders thing’. People just don’t know how to behave. 1 Like |

No there are other ways u can put him on his toes, by asking him to cover certain bills or taking care of your parents bills which u were doing before now that he is doing something. But telling ur blood brother to be remitting money to u weekly like what we see fellows do here is somehow to me. I don't know about ur family history though, but I know my mom will never be happy if he finds out I bought a car for my younger brother & collects weekly rental from him, when I am capable of gifting him the car. People spend millions sending their younger ones abroad, of which the family will also benefit in the long run, same should apply here. But telling him to balance u weekly no longer make u any different from what people like jpworld & dru are doing here & I don't see special help there considering d fact that both of u are of d same blood. Like I said in my first post, if u are capable of gifting him d car, gift it to him, designate some family responsibilities to him, but Don't collect weekly rental from him, unless u borrowed the money & let him know it is d reason u are collecting d weekly rental. We grow by helping other members of the family that is what many don't know. people wey dy do dier bizness, you dy quote dem for family issue. Probably Hyundai Elantra, that’s what my auto dealer advised Thanks so much I hope ur brother is rugged and street wise not an ajebo (butter child). Because he will be dealing with 419/yahoo riders, Lastma, local govt touts, airport authority danfo drivers and Lagos drivers. Most people just think it’s to drive and move Lagos. So if he’s an ajebo and not rugged, just give him 1 month free to test d waters and toughen up. Else ur expectations will be dashed. Also insure d car with comprehensive insurance this first time cos no matter how careful u drive in Lagos especially for someone that don’t know road. OJURONGBE1: I don't think we should be divisive about this nomination. The message is clear, the tool should be given to a member of this thread, who's not only active but contributes to the onboarding of new ehailing drivers.
Folks like Izzou, Chilex, Northbird, Pope, eherbal, Jessusson2020, Shollywendy, Baba dee, Tojah (before he got a better job), Adex, Chucsmoore, Felicity, Angryigboman, luxurydriversng and Jaydee have been very helpful before the advent of capitalist like Jpworld .They are the ones we should be rallying support for, not some fellas who crawl out of their cave whenever its time for giveaways.
They are the ones that come here to paint drivers bad without any genuine evidence and immediately you ask for more information, they will run away and never to be heard from.
They will not write premium contents like Angryigboman, that will help a weary driver laugh off his bad day nor use funny memes like Dru and Tojahh neither will they comment on a post to enlighten or scrutinize erring newbies but anytime there's a cash reward or mechanical tools, you will see new monikers in numbers.
Lolz very true.. People like free stuff, but the free stuff is part of promoting your brand , it is marketing money set aside .... 3 Likes |

With the civic change the rims and tires 1 size bigger for better ground clearance You have distributed this propaganda over the years and people chose to ignore you because they know you are very ignorant. Oga, CIVIC IS THE MOST USELESS CAR TO USE IN EHAILING.That car is very plastic in nature and always feel like something that will divide in two if on high speed. The Two best cars for ehailing are Corrola 03-07 and Camry 03-05 (4 plugs). As a plus, camry 2004 is the most rugged car to use in this racket. Take it from a veteran that have used different cars and different years for this job. Please stop misleading the general public. Civic is a very terrible car for ehailing. Its not strong, it has a nasty interior, faulty airbag warnings, low ground clearance that can damage your bottom plate or exhaust, prone to hub pulling like most honda cars and at the extreme engine issues. For the fact you promote that civic and people keep quite does not mean its the right car. Civic like every honda car of older models are utterly useless and terrible. Please take your time oo. 17 Likes |

He won't mind withholding the money. That its small money nonetheless but the driver was rude. I told him, a driver you did fake transfer for?
