Not sure he's averse to their research works. What is science and who are scientist? science simply put is the knowledge of physical and natural objects around us, and the people who tried to learn and relearn this things with concrete evidence to prove their veracity are called scientists, nothing more than that. And down through the ages we've had renown scientists who are Christians. Any discovery that's meant to help humanity is good provided it does not undermine the power and wisdom of God. Science does not work in a vacuum, without this physical and natural apparatus there is nothing to study or experiment with, unfortunately scientists with atheistic views embrace effect but downplay the cause which is in itself is against scientific reasoning, and God is the cause of everything visible and invisible.
