If you recall before that fateful day, the Nigerian Army was once accused of using live bullets used during war on shite protesters which they denied

Let's start from the beginning, initially, the Nigerian Army via its Twitter handle, denied the involvement of its officers ever being at Lekki toll gate that fateful day. They insisted that its Photoshop

Then after video of their presence started circulating on social media, they admitted that they were present but didn't shoot! Hmmmm

A key witness (DJ Switch) displayed undisputable bullets from the shooting

In what appeared to be another twist, the Nigerian Army was invited by the the Lagos state Judicial panel after much dragging of feet, they threw in the towel

They claimed that hoodlooms was wearing their uniforms

The CNN provided an irrefutable video, showing that not only was the Nigerian Army there, they also shot at protesters, hinting that the Nigerian Government might be sanctioned

In what appears to be a strange damage control, Testifying before the Lagos state Judicial panel Taiwo said the military initially denied because it did not have its fact available.

The question still remains, why didn't the Nigerian Army run a fact check before coming to the public to deny Is this how they receive their intelligent report

Then again they admitted that they went with Both Live And Blank Bullets

A video also indicated that the fire that burnt Lekki toll gate was started by the Nigerian Army which could only mean that the peaceful protest was made violent by the Nigerian Army

Questions begging for answers:
If the the Nigerian Army was actually at the Lekki toll gate, why didn't the president mention it in his broadcast

if the Nigerian armies claim that they went there to protect protesters, friendly protesters according to the Nigerian armies, why shoot at them in the first place

Why didn't the Nigerian Army confirm the presence of the military before denying publicly, saying that it was photoshopped, did they recognize themselves

Now that they have admitted that they changed their statements (lied) the next thing to do is to apologise first and stop taking Nigerians for granted, we no be mumu
