Good morning house. Please what’s the right answer to Why this program/course? Should one talk about the scholarship gotten or the research interest?? |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Emeritusseun(m): 7:34am On Nov 22, 2020 |
dipdat123: Talk about how the course is important to your career progression. Clinch on a research area, and how the skill sets you would get through the research would help in your future career goals. Or better still, talk about how you would apply the knowledge and skill from the course/research to solve a particular problem your current job or country is facing. With this, you would not have explained the importance of the course but also would have explicitly stated that you would be returning home. I do not think you should talk about scholarship if WHY THIS COURSE. The best time to talk about funding or scholarship is when the VO asks WHY THIS SCHOOL. 5 Likes |

Parko: Undergrad cgpa 3.58/4 GRE : 304 TOEFL: 90. GRE is actually waived but I submit it. you'll be asked to apply to the department first which is free, after you're accepted to the department, you'll be asked to apply to the graduate school with an application fee. This application is just formality once the department as accepted you, they will offer you admission too. So you don't pay application fee until you're recommended for admission by the department. 5 Likes 1 Share |

LosC: The earliest you can interview at the embassy is 120 days or 4 months in advance to your start date, sometime around March or April next year. 1 Like |
