Nice one, people need to start generating their own light and stop depending on this incompetent government.

Aliyu, well done for liberating your households From the darkness this government left us to. Just enjoy your new modern transformer.

I don't know why people are just quoting me up and down, you can see that the transformer thay Aliyu built is already powering up bulbs without sourcing for power from any Dam. Why you people doing like this?

These are the kind of talents companies are supposed to sponsor or set up to encourage development but NO, they prefer to spend their resources on shows without meaningful contribution to the development of the nation.
The government also encourage those shows to take away attention from them .

The government can do better by giving tax relief/holiday to companies who supports meaningful industrial/SME development to the country not by sharing 5k to people.

A country that want to develop won't allow show like dragons den sponsor by Bank PHB with the likes of Mrs ibukun awosika as a judge, a show where great minds exhibit their business ideas and money is provided to fund those business should be encouraged and given wide publicity.

Do you have a Bean bag you need to fill up, we got you covered and can supply to you in Polystyrene Beads (EPS granules) no matter any where you are in Nigeria.
Poly beads are also used in concrete casting.
attached is some poly beads recently supplied

So you mean he ran 33kv or 11kv lines to this thing up there and we can't see these lines..and he's standing close to it, even the snapist?

So he did the metal bending and drilling, grooving, threading, painting, windings (delta to star)..... because I see "Designed and Fabricate" for the title.

I hope we the completed products of the model soon enough. Congrats to him.

cool

Great development, all the things this guy need now is just to have an advance knowledge of what he has produced.

He needs to mingle with like minded in a saner clime not in nigeria, that doesn't appreciate talent.

If this guy is sent abroad just to do 6month course with this current knowledge, believe me, we would be an exporter of transformer to other african countries before we move international.

Kudos to your brain

So, in addition to being obsessed with the presidency and making explosives for Boko Haram, the north can now also fabricate transformers. That's good.

These are equipments General Electric and Siemens make and sell for millions of naira per unit, although with better safety checks and superior materials.

Nevertheless, this young mind should be encouraged because he has demonstrated knowledge of the workings of a transformer.

Give him access to the right expertise, better working conditions and materials, and we may well have sound, locally-made, commercial-grade transformers in about a decade's time.

Transformers do not generate electricity. They either step-up or step down the voltage coming from the grid/source.
