Anyway, you're OYO if you don't do your due diligence, take enough time to study the behaviour of the Stocks, watch their price mvmts and check if it fits into your on definition of JIJO. Bonjour Tous le monde. I'm new to the stock trading business and I'm taking my time to understand how the market works before taking the bold step. I would need the guidance and opinions of the house, old wines like Onegentleguy, megawatts, Zimams, et al should help me out. I have alot of questions but I would be starting with the following; (a) What are the factors I should consider before purchasing a stock. I believe before a stock is purchased, there are certain analysis done to determine the potentiality of the stock. If I'm to run one or two analysis on a company/stock what should be my fundamental and in-depth consideration? I understand checking the company's annual financial report is one criteria, but I believe that shouldn't be the only indicator. (b) Also this P/E, what it's importance in stock trading?. Last night I did some digging on PEG and the only thing I was able to deduce was; it helps to determine if a stock is overpriced or underpriced. Someone should help me explain this EPS( earning per share) in simple terms, is it synonymous to dividends, or your profit in a stock investment? Pls guys help me understand this things. Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Redoil: 9:03am On Nov 23, 2020 |
the CBN has refuse to provide forex to foreigners and importers who then decided to invested heavily in the stock market making it difficult for them to repatriate their money and to import so most of them are left with no choice than to keep it in the stock market. the economy is dying and the CBN will be left with no choice than to sell forex to them and importers. if we can time and know the time CBN will sell forex to importers to import and foreign investors t repatriate their money out then we should start seeing a drop in the stock price 2 Likes 1 Share |

Market will not change much. For the much I know, we have been in recession all the while. NBS just made it official. Banks are still cashing out looking at their results. Companies are not faring badly looking at the results they have posted. If you sell, you might not find the same stock to buy cheaper. 6 Likes |

E KU Market ooo. As for me, I just didnt see anything that changes much. Mr. Market just doing its things if I may say. Prices went up, correction taking place, the cycle is repeating itself. Recession in Q2 that brought gains in Q3, it can only repeat itself again. Q2 rate stood at 6.10% while Q3 3.62 or so, its kind of an improvement that should correct itself with time if the present govt is pro-active enough. Anyway, we keep our eyes on the big caps first............ Updated: Dividend hunters sighted picking fundamental stocks and using the opportunity of lower prices to increase their stakes..................still observing............. 3 Likes |

Panic retail sellers in action.... When Endsars could not bring down the market, is it mere announcement of recession that will bring down the market? Didn't almost everyone know we would enter recession by March this year? I see the market going down a little to rebound to make new highs... 1 Like |
