NICE.

But I usually desire to know, what are the advantages of learning to code up and down when there are ready made sites to drag and drop and do what you want?

or any advantages of learning programming codes over drag and drop.

I ventured into learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript but gave up on the way since I discovered WordPress, wix etc as short cut to web and app building.

Any explanations?

I hope you do realize that the wix and wordpress were created with codes like javascript, python etc that you're running from .... lol
you love eating eggs, but would there be any eggs if there were no chickens? The things you like to drag and drop, how did they come about?
e.g. integrating google maps in wordpress . .
how was google maps created, using wix or wordpress?

Is there a WordPress plugin that consumes API?

I mean, if I want a page that display weather information from a particular company's API on my WordPress site, can you do that with a plugin?

You should be using const for your query selectors.

This is not so bad.

Thanks.. But I felt there are some values I will have to change.. so using const might not be the answer.. But I know Const is the preferable one to use

No please, you should start with const, and when you encounter the problem of reassigning a value, change it to let.
if you do it the other way round, and your project is huge, you would have gone too far and not even able to remember where you had "let"
