I dont have a particular preference really. My considerations are basically reliability, availability of parts, driving experience maintenance costs and then any other valuable consideration.

You should have a better idea of parts pricing.

Sir, I learnt the ford don't get easily damaged if original and recommended oil is used... More so, almost any technician can work on the Highlander while very few can work on the ford...

Your candid advice will be appreciated sir

Ford have more complex electrical and mechanical systems.
The V6 engine water pump is buried inside the engine and may fail over time and dump coolant into the engine without you knowing if you're not observant and this will damage engine. It's very common in those vehicles.

P. T. O. shaft may leak and damage the differential.

My budget should get me either an Highlander 2005 or a RAV4 06. I m interested in the reliability, availability and cost of parts
4 cylinder or 6 doesnt matter.

Which should I settle for?

Please which one these cars (06 Highlander, 06 RAV4, 03-05 Avensis Verso and 03 Previa) is the most reliable, have good fuel management, less costly parts and generally easy to maintain?

Good day House

Trust you guys are having a great day?

Just a Quick one. Does anyone know if the toks 2012-2014 V4 Camry is a good buy? Because everyone seem to be selling it off lately. I noticed the 2012-2013 naija used is mostly up for sale after months of used. Any related Electrical and factory problem?

I intend purchasing a car. My budget is 3.5m. I have Lexus ES 350 2008 model in mind.

However, the rate at which people are selling it is scary. Is it a problematic car?

What other car can I get with my budget?

Sensitive transmission is the major issue, but I guess people are selling off because everyone and their grandma drives an ES350

I had similar thought, but over here in the North, the car is very scarce.
In fact you hardly see a Lexus sedan only SUVs.
I wanted getting one myself but became skeptical after seeing the high rate at which people were selling off the vehicle after few months of use.
I am still confused between the 2008 ES350 and IS 250.

Maintenence is quite a bit more expensive. The ES is essentially a dressed-up Camry/Avalon depending the year.

The GS, on the other hand, is only similar to the IS and a number of cars that aren't sold outside Asia.

Also, the GS of that era (2005-2012) has quite divisive looks. Lastly, there was a time the 2007+ GS350 engine cost over 1m, too.

U are right. I saw a 2012 model and I viewed the interior. I was disappointed.

Es350’s maintenance is higher.
