I selected an item and was informed that if i opt to pay with my mastercard, that I am entitled to a discount. And when i clicked on it, a discount was applied, but immediately i clicked on pay, they removed the discount.

You selected "choose a new card" select your card and see the 10k disappear because you didn't use a Stanbic IBTC MasterCard and you are not a first timer, the card has been used on jumia pay before, so no discount for you

Jumia is fraud.

I had several experience with them.
From sending another person's item to me, to marking that I've received an item when I haven't, to sending faulting item and only refunding after the price of the item is more than doubled, to sending what you get vs what u expect - Lolz. Those 5 experiences marred the 2 good experience (the two good experiences where items they sourced from Jumia global).

Right now I'm scared of all Nigerian e-commerce sites.
