i started programming in 2017.
the learning and the tutorial was awesome
but after the basic learning i started writing some js programs, each program or project i always get stucked in a very small mystirious bug tha will take me 3 to 4days to solve. i will write the code correctly ooo!,but sometimes it won't work or execute unexpected result expecially js fetch api and some php code.
sometimes when debugging my code i will asking my self if programming is for me or not, somtimes i feel furstrated when debugging.
please i need ur advice

It has happened to the best of programmers.
I have been there.
Don't give up on your dreams even though programming is for d called. Not those who called themselves to the deal.

I hope you will get a thing from the pics

I'm still surprised why I've not broken my laptop's screen.

When you are just starting out especially without a mentor, it's always like that.

When you feel frustrated, the best thing is to always leave the screen and come back later.
Problem no dey finish.

Also, try to copy your error messages directly into Google.

As time goes on, you'll get better at it.

In fact, it's advisable to take a break every 15 minutes.

I realize that a lot of people who delve into programming are just newbies in development thus giving them a hard time. I also realized that an old timer who is a self taught front end developer could easily tell a developer a fix to a problem when a newbie developer is having issues with certain issues. As a newbie, learn to troubleshoot errors and get very good at it. Always learn to fix any problem and know why they're there and the next time it will just be as easy to fix that problem

n illustration of what i want to explain was when I had issue with chrome browser. I tried fixing an already fixed error until one day I decided to clear cookies and cache and i was shocked after i had fixed a different problem and realized that it fixed my web app problem.

Don't give up when it's not over. All the best.

What you need to do is learn how to debug your code, it's a very valuable skill to have as a developer.

The most effective debugging tool a developer can have is your simple console.log or print method. Whenever you notice a bug, break down the code block involved into bits and console log all the values to make sure that the right values are being passed at every given stage, don't assume anything. Console.log has saved many lives since 1995 cheesy

Also learn how to debug using google chrome and other debugging tools. Good luck on your coding journey, don't give up!
