grin

Why are they shouting, it's just normal mechanical fault.

The north is very secure and the disbanded SARS operatives were recently deployed all over the north and to the train routes especially.

These people should calm down as the era of banditry, terrorism and kidnapping are over in the North.

Let it be know that it was Tinubu's Nation Newspaper that has started indirect attacks on the Amaechi person as if people from the ACN bloc has done any better.
But he should be ready when the drums start beating again.

When we were complaining abt such ancient trains the zombie says so many unprintable word against us; how can a government buys old trains when bullet trains are now in use everywhere?
They shld thank God it didn't break down in a Book haram enclave, otherwise it is RIP that will be written now.
You think bullet trains cannot develop mechanical faults?
Re: Kaduna-Abuja Train Breaks Down In Bush By 2am, Stranded Passengers Cry Out by omotomki: 11:08am On Nov 26, 2020
Trains do develop technical fault also abroad and passengers have to alight to take another train. The only problem with that of Nigeria is that there are no options when there is a break down.Abroad , the driver of the train manage to take the train to the nearest train station and another train is provided for the passengers to continue . I think nigeria shud allow private individual to run rail transport .In europe , most of the trains are owned by private people through shares ,private people should be allowed to have trains , run transport business with their trains .it will create jobs for the people .also most of the rail lines in europe are sponsored by Europe union to facilitate movement of goods., I wonder why Africans and African union can not be United. We don't need to be critiscising government all the time ,europe is working because most of the things are in private hand ,the government only provide a favourable ground for private people to invest . We can't be burning buildings during protest and expect investors to come to our country .

Even the oyinbo wey create machine talk am say machine is not 100% efficient.........

So long it's mechanical, you ought to always be prepared to face uncertainties like these.....just that the spot where it broke down has a higher odd which favours kidnappers

Re: Kaduna-Abuja Train Breaks Down In Bush By 2am, Stranded Passengers Cry Out by omotomki: 11:17am On Nov 26, 2020
There are lots of secret behind most things you see in developed countries , at least we shud try to appreciate the little we have .for your information , most of this trains are not owned by governemt. They are owned by people through shares , they are owned by private people, private companies ,Rail lines are sponsored by European union .They do it so that there can be free movement of goods , logistics is one of the fastest and largest growing business in europe. So it's not a one man thing , there is no government in Nigeria or African who can provide such trains on it, we need to learn how things work before we condemn.PDP or apc can never buy such, it's only group of private people who can do such

This train thing is part of the achievement of the Buhari government and this is the 2nd time the train will be stopping while passengers are traveling.... I keep wondering why they cant have standby engineers on the train at all times Expect Amechi's apology today or tomorrow..... We dont want apologies, we only want you to put your head in use and stop endangering people's lives.

What is it expected from a refurbished train engine? What is expected is exactly what the Rigasa train station manager said, "a normal mechanical fault on any engine!"

It is not a unfortunate incident. I can bet that the train and coaches were all second hand. Minister Amaechi bought second hand trains. If you doubt me, check with the Chinese suppliers.
This is what you you get when politicians do not allow civil servants to do their work with their interference.
Corruption. The minister will propose the contract, award it to himself, take delivery and issue certificate of completion and order payment to himself.
Kwarapsan.

You are right , in developed countries .governemt. don't manage anything. It is run by private people ,that is why things work.theyou shud allow private people buy trains and run transport . I think the private transport company shud make a proposal to the minister .You will see the kind train that an ibo man will bring , that is when you will see competition with latest and fastest train .lol

Not so my country
Amechi is getting it wrong,
Government should only provide the rail track, the couches and train should be given to my ibo brothers to manage as a private entity. Those guys are supreme in business.
Amechi should as a matter of urgency call on Ekeson, chisco, ezenwata, Guo , the young shall grow , borny way etc. to bring in their couches and government should only be interested in tax from every loading and coordination of the rail track. Government cannot manage anything in Nigeria the example is for us all to see. Nipost, nitel, nnpc, nepa even execution of war against Boko Haram they have failed.

A word is enough for the wise

My problem is with the manager that says it is a normal thing for engine to develop fault. So if he was in an airplane and it develops a fault mid air, would he say it is normal?
Re: Kaduna-Abuja Train Breaks Down In Bush By 2am, Stranded Passengers Cry Out by chukel(m): 11:36am On Nov 26, 2020
Too bad. However most Nigerians are ingrates and really don't deserve good things. If that train arrived its destination as it has been doing, no one would ever have heard of it. No one would know that this government provided trains that commute passengers even at a time like 2am. But once it develops issues, they come out blasting. Same with Npower. People were getting the stipends quietly without letting the public know. Some were still talking down on the government while being beneficiaries of the same government policies. The moment they were cut off from the programme for which they overstayed, they came out to complain to the public that they were being owed.

Nigeria itself is stuck, its not moving, because it has broken down in the middle of nowhere.
Re: Kaduna-Abuja Train Breaks Down In Bush By 2am, Stranded Passengers Cry Out by membranus: 11:37am On Nov 26, 2020
The Chinese are hyper smart.

They borrow us money at stupendous interest rate to buy their obsolete trains.

Two years later their inferior train products start to break down, we call them for repair because no Nigerian engineers have bèen trained to handle this, additional money in China pockets.

The Minister who arranged the deal cannot complain too much because he has already collected his ten percenter upfront.

The common people are left to suffer the bad deal at the detriment of their lives.

That's Nigeria for you, but how long will this continue before the country burst into flames.

My only advice to you is, try and travel out of Nigeria once. Even if it's for just one week to Ghana (no visa needed). It'll do a lot to refine your mentality.
Sorry to disappoint, I am not in that league, I have traveled beyond Ghana. My point is that I hate when you guys think nothing good come out of this country.
I want to believe that you have traveled to Ghana that is why you make reference to it, if I am correct, then why not remain there since you think nothing good comes out of Nigeria?
I have automobile for private use and it is very close to being new yet this thing pull surprises at times. Does it mean I do not care about my personal interest?

Where is wisdom in all you are saying, passengers to find solutions ? Are you suggesting they should start pushing the train?

My dear stop this folly of defending ineptitude and inefficiency
The wisdom in my post is not be seen by people with low IQ since you think shouting on top of their voices in the bush around 2am is wisdom
