Agbegbaorogboye: Sure it's IPOB's fault. Since Amaechi claimed to be IGBO. His credibility was gone. Amaechi single handedly bought these fake and substandard Trains from China.

Nigeria as presently constituted isn't working. Why don't we try something else? Like disintegration. |

The train service don tire me sef. The most annoying thing is that they will notapologise, pacify or even notify passengers when the train breaks down. The next thing you will see is policemen running up and down the aisle as if na Indian film dem dey act. |

I don't have a problem with fault happening on a train. They should make provision for another train to convey them to their destinations. And possibly refund 50% of their money for the inconveniences caused. 1 Like |

And it think this is what we mortgaged our country and the future of unborn generations for, you begin to wonder what kinda contract was signed with China. European countries also take loans and buy from China but they get best of services and terms. Why does ours have to be different? Why are we do wicked to ourselves? |

Heads should role and the government should pay heavy compensation for endangering the passengers' lives and all the inconveniences incurred by them. Otherwise, this will repeat itself and by that time, bandits maybe be waiting. |

peacekante: The problem with corruption is that it knows no limits. When the oga at the top inflates the contract to get his own share but give the subordinates the exact amount or even extra to do maintenance, the corrrupt subordinates too take their own and do shoddy maintenance. And the end result is this type of embarrasment. Instead of heads to roll it is excuses that will roll and the coruption continues. |

AFONJACOW: Exactly.... they do daily tests, monthly and quarterly tests; they even project when it's likely to spoil and also check the impact of heavy snow and work with weather forecasts to divert routes if necessary.. .. the retrogression of Nigeria isn't due to bad leaders, it's because the vast majority of the population are lazy, indisciplined and sick in the head with toxic masculinity.... |

I just hope while being enthusiastic about painting the government bad, the person recording was prudent enough not to post the video online till they got to safety. An indiscretion of untimely publicity would have made their location known to bandits. |

Flyingngel: The great USA does not have Bullet Trains.... and you believe Nigeria should have them. If we do... you think you can afford to ride them? BREAKING NEWS..... the great USA has wayyy more ancient trains still in service.... lots of them. Go figure out why the train broke down... and no difference if it were a Bullet Train. @ topic.... the conductor was real professional.... I really wonder what sooo many of the passengers expected him to do.... fix the train? They need to get to the Minister who keeps apologizing but not getting the problem fixed. Until the masses begin to attack those in charge... nothing will change. |
