my point exactly... why are they tagging new intel to begin with... this is a summary with small addition and subtraction of last years exercise with new dates from the leaked signal

It wasn't from a blog. It was from a media house; People's Gazette precisely. And we know from recent times that 'People's Gazette is a credible house.
Why it may look like an addition or subtraction may be because the possible internal memo release was edited from a previous one by the army itself. It's nothing new with these type of similar news.

Oh so some blog house shared the news too, well that's an addition. The actual news was not from a blog post and the news was published from two different media Houses.

Another thing I don't understand is why you were being defensive when it was tagged as news intel. That similar number of shortlisted candidates as reported in the news is identical to what is obtainable in the past does not mean that the news isn't new. So what exactly is the thing with the news intel that you are discrediting.

People's gazette carried a fake news that the test we set for was postponed till further notice.

Also, SGcommander, I advise that such news of "you've seen your name" should be kept to yourself. Its not wise to say such at this time.

Please I also advise all that any news of when the list would be released should be suspended for now till when the list actually comes out. Let's not start spreading lies and half truths. Integrity is the character of a good officer

I'm not an applicant. I just like to follow the gists here. One thing I've noticed is that people here are too uneasy and really just scamper for any information. I checked in the middle of the night last night and saw 10 people viewing this thread. People should actually take a chill pill. Check once in a day and go about your your normal business.

Most people here are applicants like you and don't have a monopoly of information. I've seen many that have been correct in the past, been very wrong recently. So, just await the information from the only source that can be verifiably correct; the Nigerian Army itself.

Something is set to happen from 12am tomorrow. Both RRI and DSSC/SSC will be released together. RRI screening to kick-off by Monday, so I was told, from a reliable source.

RRI screening is scheduled to kick off on 8th of next month, their list will be released on the 2nd of next month.

If anything at all is coming out by 12am tomorrow like you suggested/mentioned, the slightest chance is for it to be SSC/DSSC list, it is definitely not going to be RRI list.
