marylandcakes: Don’t be surprised. It’s the same reason why viagra (as an Afrodisiac) was not trialed in woMen. Same reason why Ebola vaccine was not trialed in Abuja, Nigeria. Same reason why you can’t do a malaria vaccine trial in Scotland. Same reason why rotavirus vaccine cannot be trialled in Kent. 1 Like |

LagosismyHome: This is the second time you’re seeing it because you didn’t correct me the first time. My friend that’s a nurse told me this. Also when I was in uni, I had a few art and microbiology friends that came to do a masters in nursing but were told that they won’t practice until after they did the nursing degree (bsc) and wrote the exams. The only friends of mine that stayed back to practice nursing were the ones that had a bsc in nursing from Nigeria and were doing their masters in public health. That’s were I got the information from. Information updated (y) 1 Like |

Gbolly101: Please ignore what I said, as I have been told that it’s a misinformation. Nursing isn’t my field so I only passed what I heard from my nursing friends. |

Zeecos: That’s good. It’s not what I was told in 2015. But correction taken, cheers. |

Gbolly101: I wish you the best. Please send an email to them to confirm that you can practice after you’re done with the masters. It’s such great news that people are allowed to practice even if they have a different first degree. 1 Like |

Aphrodite007: True... at first line. My mistake so apologies UK have ways of quietly changing some thing to suit what on ground, either removing or adding or capitalize on something new , so I am not surprised to hear that it probably was different in 2015....... 3 Likes |

LagosismyHome: Yeah I appreciate your understanding. I witnessed many school mates go home because they couldn’t practice nursing so I believed the stories I heard. But I’m glad I got corrected, the last thing I want is to misinform people. |
