Hello guys, please I need your help. undecided

I started downloading the update with WiFi, but lost the connection at 8%. Now I can't continue or start again. I've tried clearing cache and app data but no success. What other options do I have? I'm using mobile data too ‍♂️
It's Redmi Note 7 global version and I'm on 11.0.6.0

The phone is great all rounder. The only issue I have with it is the slow typing... I don't get the fast typing experience I had with Samsung.

well, i think the 6gb variant would have been better. But in my mi max 2, u can type with the speed of light without any lags. Its 4gb ram with less powerful snapdragon 625 than note 9s. So i am kinda shocked about ur issue of slow typing.

Try other keyboards if you aren't okay with gboards animations.

It is an animation thing. If you can reduce the animations it will be faster.

It's been long I delved there but it is somewhere in developers settings.

Reducing the animations in developer's option won't really help, as this only changes the way windows pop up and how apps transition. If you change the windows pop up speed, your keyboard will pop up faster without lesser animations when you click a textbox, but it won't increase your typing speed. Typing depends on the actual user and keyboard. The Redmi note 9s is 6.67 inches and I don't know which Samsung you used previously, but I'm assuming it's smaller, so your fingers needs to adjust to this new screen size; the phone is huge. Since you have gotten Swift keyboard, just get used to it. You'd be fine.
