"Israel on the beat" Modified: You can't blame Israel though. If your enemy keeps arming himself and glancing ominously in your direction, you'll definitely do all you can to thwart him, right? Even some Arab states don't like Iran! 1 Like |

You are obviously not informed . Who dares carry out an attack in the heart of Tehran and surburb if not Mossad. This is high profile target not easily killed unless by the best secret intelligence in the world. IJOBA2: |

War with Hezbollah is difficult because Israel is concerned about Lebanon citizens. IDF is a moral army that prevents civilians casualty. With Iran, F -35s with Israeli avionics will do serious damage to Tehran. And don't forget they are nuclear armed. marvin906: |

It was either Mossad or CIA via one of their many proxies. The CIA also killed a lot of Indian nuclear scientists when the Indians were developing nuclear weapons back in the 60s and 70s. And this is not the first time, the CIA and Mossad have taken out Iranian nuclear scientists. When they are not sanctioning Iran or using malware to shutdown their nuclear science program, this is what they do. Unfortunately, these assassinations will not deter Iran. Whatever knowledge that man had has since been disseminated to a whole bunch of proteges. Eventually, Iran will master nuclear technology and build nuclear weapons and then you won't hear of such assassinations anymore because it would be foolish of both the US and Israel to test a nuclear power. You see that with how the US deals with North Korea, India, China, Russia even Turkey (which has NATO nukes on its soil). You must understand, countries like the US and Israel did not get to become what they are today by being nice guys. While I do not discount the ingenuity displayed by these two countries, most of what they have today was taken by force. Hence, they only really understand force not diplomacy. Iran can only become a force to reckon with once they have nuclear weapons and the Iranians know this which is why they'll stop at nothing to achieve this aim. IJOBA2: |

shugabasbn:For your information Mr shugabasbn Here is why... This birthplace of Persian civilization was once one of the favorite tourist destinations in the world. This all dramatically changed in 1979 when, because of enormous pressure from religious fundamentalists, the shah of Iran fled the country and was replaced by Ayatollah Khomeini. Today, charges of state-sponsored terrorism, among other hostile acts, have caused many to fear the intentions of this proud nation. For example, Lebanon-based Hezbollah (which means party of God in Arabic) receives its major financial support from Iran.9 The U.S. State Department has presented evidence that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has played an active role in undermining Iraq by funneling arms and fueling the insurgents. Thousands have been killed because of the IEDs (improvised explosive devices) and the more sophisticated EFPs (explosively formed penetrators)both manufactured in Iran. Plus, there is the fear of nuclear weapons in the hands of a nation that has publicly called for the destruction of Israel. In 2006, the United Nations adopted Resolution 1727, imposing sanctions on Iran for failing to halt its uranium enrichment program. The Iranian regime has not only ignored the worlds outrage over its nuclear ambitions, but it has also blatantly forged ahead. By early 2009, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported that the nation had enough centrifuges, reactor-grade nuclear plutonium, and weaponsgrade uranium needed for an atomic warhead. When you combine this with the fact that Iran has successfully tested its highly accurate Shahab-3 missiles with a range of over twelve hundred miles, you can only imagine the consequences. Israel is just nine hundred miles away! 2 Likes |
