Raalsalghul: Hello Raalsalghul, It depends on who the person is and how far apart the relationship trace tends to be. The situation/circumstances surrounding proving relationship to a distant third party sponsor is inconclusive. This point of view is for "Friend" or "Family Friend" sponsor. Evidence of previous financial support or sponsorship (i.e. Apprenticeship, Mentorship, godfather to your child (if applicable), Workshops, Conference etc) should also come in handy. That's why this type of third party sponsorship isn't always advised as the explaining gets too long or complex. All the best 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by DefyTheOdds: 7:26am On Nov 28, 2020 |
Hello Rootiab, The $2,550 is a special fee for the program, in addition to the actual tuition fee which is $9,666 ($1,611 per term, for six terms). This is already $12,216 without even adding non-instructional fees which from what I see is around $3,000. I suggest you carry out more research on fees for your program. cheers PS: All this information was gotten directly from the tuition breakdown on the school's website Rootiab: 3 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by DefyTheOdds: 7:44am On Nov 28, 2020 |
The 6 terms is just a payment plan (because they have 3 terms in 1 year). you can pay it in 3, 6 or 9 terms but you will still pay the $9,666 fee. Cheers Rootiab: 2 Likes |

Hi guys. I applied for my study visa(four years undergrad) on October 15 and my request to go for biometrics came out the same day. I then did the biometrics on the 30th of October due to the protests that was going on. My sister applied(2 years Masters)earlier this year and her study visa was granted within a month plus. When I went to their website to check the processing time, I saw 14 weeks. Just yesterday, it's been changed to 15 weeks. My school is resuming on January 11 and I deferred the admission before. What do you think I should do? Defer the admission again? Also, do you guys think an account statement of 50M+ is enough to get me this visa? I did an upfront medical test after my application was submitted (27th of October) too and the wait is killing me lol since I used an agent and I really don't know what's going on. I await your favorable response. Thank you. |

recxa: I always tell people this; you have to be really patient here, Canada will test your patience to the core. You have done your biometrics and upfront medicals, honestly all you can do right now is wait.. there are some people that submitted august/sept and still nothing yet. Please just be patient. And yes the funds that you have is more than enough, and I hope it’s from within your nucleus family. |

Hi everyone, Please I need advice, wanted to use my mum as my sponsor but her account balance is not good enough. Someone advised I try and manipulate it. My question is, will it be better to manipulate Or try using an uncle that doesn’t have same surname with me. If there is another option please let me know Thanks. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by recxa: 11:47am On Nov 28, 2020 |
adeenzo: Thank you so much. I realize I have to be patient. The reason I'm anxious is because I'm in the university (in Lagos) and since we've been on strike. I do NOt want to resume with them LOL And yes, it's from my nucleus family (my dad). What do you think I should do about the admission tho? To wait or to defer? Thanks again |
