Nice.... Did as you said.... I am applying for a school in poznan, it's a public school. (It's starts with Adams bla bla bla then university).

Now the coco is, I've been told by my cousin friend who schools and works there that it's advisable to secure admission for private universities, so you can have enough time to work... He said govt schools restrains you and you can only work part-time..

Question; who in this thread stays in Poznan city or secure admission there?

What is your take on private university over public based on working freely as a student...
.

first of all I want to say there jobs so job is not a problem. secondly poznan is a nice place. finally, the main Goal is your studies, work should not interfere in anyway with you studies.

now that said and done, let me answer most of your question.

I can't confirm if your cousin friend is right or worng, but I do understand what he/she is implying. some schools (private/government)have irregular timetables, what I mean is you can have classes in the morning and evening, making it difficult for you to work full time. To work full-time you should have a straight timetable where you can work in the morning and go to work in the afternoon or evening.

private schools understand the need to work as a Foreign student so naturally to attract you there offer a flexible schedule for you. I came across a school that promise a very flexible timetable so you can work as much as you want. LOl

note: irregular timetables are really not a problem as some companies will offer you a flexible work schedule as a student and you on your own can make up for times during the weekend earning more on overtimes.

what I can say is there are no limits to how long a student can work in Poland. this is in accordance to polish law. once you get a temporary Residence card you can take up full time employment like any other person. even without your trc you can work and get paid in hand.

the answer to second question-

there are people in poznan right now and people who got admitted there who are on this platform looking at this post right now. most of them are too busy to type. no be wickedness na just time no dey.

when you go abroad to study you will understand that time is money and it runs very fast. school work + office work + all the wahala of you finding your way won't give you time to talk plenty.

so my advice is this - form your own path, connections and depend on nobody. you have quora, youtube, facebook etc use them to your disposal, run your own research. it will go a long way in satisfying your curiosity. once you can hold your own they will all find their way to you cause they know you won't overrely on them.

Now your last question- I already spoke my mind. no answer will be correct. just follow your heart and pocket, yes your pocket some private schools na money, big man big trouble lol.

finally, knowledge is power do your research and you got nothing to worry about

Meant online not 100% though. Said my workplace for 2023. Main thing I am encouraging the lad to take the offer and come over. You sure can mix work and school albeit d small pay work offers. But more bigger companies are coming to open hubs in Poland so the economy is opening up.
bros can you help us navigate. lot of people need help and confirmation. since you are there you word counts.

Actually it’s all on God but at the same time I did my part as a human...

I read clearly what they requested on their website and on here too...

So I took along all documents that were requested as originals in originals; and all other documents
Though I used payslips and employment letter for my financial documents.

It took exactly 30 days as it was written on my collection slip...

So once your documents are complete and valid; you’ll pray to God for success and it’ll be yours to claim.

My brother, please can you help me with a format of the sponsorship letter.
here is my email (ricasteve05@yahoo.com) if you don't want to post it here. thanks in advance and congratulations once again

A big congrats to you bro.
I will be glad if you could disclose the monthly net pay in your sponsor's pay slip that you submitted to the polish embassy
My initial visa application was rejected a few weeks ago as a result of insufficient funds, therefore, knowing this will highly improve my chances of success with my current visa application.
Thanks in advance.

If you're really serious, I can help you book an appointment date this coming Thursday. I have booked 3 phone appointments (2 for myself and one for a friend I met at the embassy gate during my visa interview yesterday) therefore, I'm 95% sure of getting an appointment date any Thursday that I use all my effort to call the embassy's phone line.
But you will have to pay me money oo because calling that phone line is mentally exhausting.

Congratulations brother.
Can you pls list out the documents you submitted? Secondly, did you submit/go to the embassy with the original sponsor's employment letter and employment ID card? I am asking because I have only the scan copies of these two documents from my sponsor. Lastly, I don't have the original copy of my university transcript. Pls do you know if the MoE would agree to authenticate the scan copy.

Please I will appreciate your response to these questions. Thanks.

1 i don't have idea about employment letter, but I think you can request for original employment certificate ( a document from the company starting that your sponsor still work with them). But I don't think embassy will take scan copy.

2. I guess it depends on the mood of the person signing and grace, my students copy was stamped for me at the Ministry.

3 I use credit card. But I know a friend with 650k net and he got visa.
