iwillmakeit: Boss no too much talk, send me your WhatsApp or your email and I’d show you my trade history as well as my bank statement so you see how much I traded btw 2019 and 2020 alone... i do not day trade, and I also mix currency trading with my crypto trades... I can show you better than I can tell you, I’m not here to cap or for long talk... Any novice with google can tell you how much btc was it’s first year... If you’re so vast, what was the percentage change in the price of btc this year alone? |

Most Nigerian cant differs between aboki/central trading for BTC. Blord and ur friend who tell you that he buy and sell btc and the Patricia app etc that we see on tv that are mostly common in Nigeria are OTC blackmarket. Some of them buy from you to re-sell on platform like Remitano which is provide p2p platform in otc format. I don't like to argue trading with people because those who make trading money are not in Nigerian and it central market that is where the game is played. if u can't understand the kind of trading blord and most Nigerian are doing it means you're not into blockchain ecosystem. Like I earlier said. it is unja gullible people who sell their btc to them. The platform to sell bitcoin are available without the need of blord and patricia app etc. Blord is aboki btc traders simple>if he into central trading he will be more into technical trading chart and pattern. I don't know if he use btc trading to cover up for other illicit deal but it is fraudsters who mostly sell their btc to them and EFFC know this. 1 Like 1 Share

i don't think you understand the argument the very few sensible ppl are putting forward . NO ONE IS DISPUTING THAT BITCOIN CAN TURN SOMEONE INTO A MILLIONAIRE IN A YEAR , but what they are saying is the margin of profit , what most of u fail to accept is that most ppl who claim to be dealing in btc are not dealing only in btc they are also into other online crypto businesses apart from btc , some are into currencies , some are also into illegal stuff like money laundering, while some are just on gift cards buying and selling which is also a gold mine , but to say that 50k naira will become 10m in year by trading btc is somehow unbelievable . before you can make the kind of profit of 10m in a year that means ur initial capital isnt 50k , it will be a substantial figure . this is why ppl get scammed easily and why scammers fed fat on people , they offer them high returns which makes people think bitcoin trading is like money ritual , . yes you can make million from it but the capital has to be huge and you have got to have some bit of luck by your side Born2conquer: 2 Likes |

To hit it big in crypto trading, let's say you invested ₦200,000 into btc when it was $3350 for 1 Btc between late last year, your btc would have turned to like ₦1,2m at about when btc hit $19,400+. So to actually be a big man trading crypto, you must have at least invested up to ₦2M from last year. Except you put that ₦200k since when btc was below $1k, you can't build a house and have 3 cars from trading btc alone. I am opened to superior argument. 1 Like |

somehow:BTC is not the only cryptocurrency. Some other coins have multiplied as high as *100. Lets say I invested 200k in a cheaper alt coin, and this coin multiplied by 100 during a mega rally like 2017/2018. My money would be about 20 million naira just like that. People have become millionaires in dollars through this. You don't need to invest millions to hit big in crypto. |

I don't know why Nigerians still doubt the opportunities in the online space — is it ignorance or frustration? The arguments above: Some are coming from the angle of small profit margin and the need for huge initial capital (even comparing trading with BDC). While the argument may seem sensible on the surface, it shows lack of knowledge of online trading. There's what we call leverage in financial trading. It's the ability to trade with several times your account size. It's a double-edged sword though — it can help you maximize profits but can also increase your losses if you're unlucky. So, don't compare online trading with BDC. Another point that defeats this huge initial capital argument is that family and friends give these guys money to trade for them once they notice that the person is consistently profitable. The other group are arguing or even bragging about the enormous profit they can make from trading. While huge profits are possible, they don't come easily. The third group arguing from the angle of position trading. Yes, some people with the foresight saw Bitcoin as a store of value with growth potential, and they may have benefited from that. But it's not easy to trust Bitcoin at that early stage. Many of us didn't, and it's one of my biggest regrets. A female friend of mine made me buy over 1m worth of Bitcoin in late 2016 @$600 per BTC, but I was impatient and sold them off in early 2017. By December 2017, it was almost $20,000/BTC. That's more than 3,333% increase — the 1m would have become over 33m. My point is, don't doubt the opportunities in financial trading. It has made many millionaires billionaires. But it's not that easy — a lot of technical knowledge and psychological skills are required. @ the victim, get a sound lawyer. EFCC and other security agents do this nonsense because our lawyers aren't kicking their arses. If they spend a huge percentage of their yearly budget paying damages for wrongful arrests and malpractices, nobody will tell them to sit up. 1 Like |

film3four: Something does not sound right. Please see a lawyer ASAP. The Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 recognizes that an arrested suspect has property rights, and that is why, 1. It requires the arresting officer to make an inventory of items belonging to the arrested suspect following the conduct of searches on him and before the case heads to court Section 10(1) Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 2. It mandates the authentication of the list of seizures with the signature of the police officer and the arrested suspect, although it is immaterial that the arrested person refuses to sign Section 10(2) Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 3. It allows for the handing over a copy of the inventory to the legal practitioner of the accused or any other person of his choice Section 10(3) Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 4.
