How can a sensible lady agree to meet a client in his house? Except she's going to do runs. Someone you don't know from Adam you didn't set a meeting in a public place. undecided

They just entered car with the person just like that. Na wa ooo. Best place to meet is public restaurant and after the meeting don't agree if the person offer a ride to take them to their destination. Those people are corporate thief shaaa using fine car to deceive women

She said she's scared to report to the police because the guy knows her. So they don't start sending their gangs after her.

I get it bt if u involve the police and sm soldiers for more seriousness I promise u no 1 will dare touch her. In fact they will disappear when they see her next time. They will track them and everything that concerns them. If she’s touched they will hear it. It will even be documented and signed. Or are they ghosts

Hmm... Surprising, esp as you know too much of the story.
Even the trivial details, you know so much about it.

Just my observation tho

Why are you reasoning like this? The way she narrated her ordeal to me in details after church service was exactly how i narrated it and that makes it me?? SMH.

They didn't go to a guy's house. The guy picked them from the front of a police station after the girls alighted from an Uber. They entered the car of the guy, two other guys were inside the car.

The robbery took place in the car.

Take time to read.
but will you enter a stranger's car ?

He isn't someone she doesn't know, they have been friends for a while, so your comment cancels out. Besides when did it become a bad thing to agree with your friend to go with them to a place they suggested?

Hmmm. Take it easy. They are not total strangers. She was not alone either. The lesson we can learn is that we should avoid cars as much as possible. Tell me where we will meet and discuss. No pick up

I'm sure it was the sound of her making big money that made your friends lose her sense 9f reasoning. As a young single lady, if you don't have an office always meet at a public place or an eatery. It doesn't matter if you have 10 friends following you. 3 men with weapons can overpower 15 girls.

Tell your friend she should glorify God she wasn't used for rituals this december or raped.

It seems like some people haven't realized there is serious hunger in the land especially after lockdown. Humans have become wild animals. You gat to stay safe by all means.

Even without weapon. I fear that gender pass LION. Everything on their body is a weapon.

Only someone who's truly your friend can narrate such a story for you in such details. For you to say she isn't your friend is surprising, unless of course she was narrating the story to a friend of hers and you were there and hearing everything.

Now let me tell you.

After service, my pastors wife usually meet with the single sisters. And during service she already gave the testimony about the robbery but not in details. So at the meeting, pastors wife was the one who now asked her to explain what really happened and she did.

Secondly, why I said she's not my friend is because we are More than just friends. We are in the same choir.

Damn
Its better to choose a public location like eatery to talk about business. Imagine that dull guy that opened a thread some days ago about how he can't let his date choose a location that She's comfortable with and all the dull nairaland men that supported him. Its to prevent things like this

Yeah that's true. I read that thread too.

Ehen... It's now I get you very clearly. I thought you weren't friends with her at first. Now I know better with the 2nd highlighted part.

Thanks for clearing the air for me

Be at alert. Even those claiming to be seeking employees, get an address from em first.

Your friend's story makes absolutely no sense. Why did she have to take two friends to a business meeting? People have carried out multi million naira transactions without ever setting eyes on each other, I'm wondering what quotation is she quoting that she had to go to an undisclosed location with a strange fellow. And agreeing to enter a stranger's car with two men to God knows where in these perilous times of kidnapping for ransom or rituals? What the hell were they thinking?

Tell your friends to be honest, they went for a booty call not a business meeting. The guy posed as a big shot and asked her to bring friends for his fellow rich friends. Knowing how greedy the average greedy naija babe is, it's a no brainer that they will fall into their trap. Your friends should be thanking their stars that they didn't lose more than earthly possessions that can be replaced.

Ladies be careful! So many "abroad" guys and "rich clean" guys are prowling all over social media claiming to be looking for girlfriends. Most of them have sinister motives. I believe it's one of such guys the op's friend fell for.

The story makes no logical sense, tbh. I was wondering how it went from business deal to "she and two of her friends".

Not supporting robbery but ladies really have to be careful.

She said she had a premonition and didn't want to go. Her instinct kept telling her not to go. That was why she called her friends to accompany her.

Na taxi??

How big is this car that 5 people (minus driver, which I assume is the client) will "comfortably" seat on the car.

I mean it's a business date, I find it illogical for Nigerians girls to order for uber only to discomfort themselves in a supposed private car.

No questions asked about seeing strange guys in the car. At least the guy knows the girl is bringing her friends, but why is the girl not suspicious (or the friends too), that the client is bringing his "own friends".

Either this story is false, or the girl isn't telling the complete story, or the girl(s) are all plain naive and dumb.
the story is fake.don't mind the " attention-seeking"op.

See how you just finished an innocent girl. Well... The little I know about her, she's not that kind of person. Her mum is a caterer and is the one that caters for some of our church programs. She too is into catering. A very small girl that just freshly graduated from the uni and preparing to go for service. That girl is not the type. Please.

Sad thing is ‘
According to her the story was told within the church premises.
She’s met with the guy before” that’s how they exchanged numbers .
She’s obviously had some sort of communication ‘chat voice call etc ..
But the op mentioned that the supposed victim can’t make an official report to the police because She’s scared He will send his gangs’
I’ll like to assume one would probably know someone real well to know if they got a gang or they are part of a gang and for someone the victim had met before and she also knows his gang .
And he and his gang robbed you at Gun point but still the best u can do is tell the story in church ☺️ .
