I just got word that Top Brasses are so far not Impressed with the crop they have interviewed so far in the on-going Interviews at the Towers;Just Like the GMD groused about Experienced hire lacking in required skill set,They are also not impressed with those they have Interviewed for now. Infact, Apart from lacking required skills,Management is concerned about their age.The towers need fresh blood if things must change.
From what i was told,There will be another advertisement for recruitment in February/March 2021 for both SSCE/OND/NCE and Experienced Hire,I am not sure if the former will be casual staff but the later will definitely be more specific skills within specific age bracket.(Maybe they are willing to poach from Shell,Total and Chevron)
From our discussion,The Experienced hire Recruitment is very much alive and they will be contacted before the advertisement.This could happen December 2020 or January 2021. Please can anyone verify this through their source?

It should probably be the later because the BMPs have been posted to their respective SBUs including CHQ where they are undergoing documentation prior to resuming work fully.

If they were looking for 400 E.H, what stops them from reducing it to 150 with your own name on it.... We never said they should employ everyone or the number agreed upon. They should employ you amongst the few they want so that the E.H stuff can end.... Ending this recruitment will make those who didn't make it have deep focus on their agenda, and enjoy were they work. But with this wait, even if someone is earning very good salary where he or she works, he or she will still be tempted to rely on NNPC... Forget these grammar of oil price issues, etc...NNPC can release it by reducing the intake and giving you your APL in Jesus name. Amen. You will get in there in Jesus name. Amen

Oil prices are in an upward trajectory given the availability of vaccines and reduction in lockdowns in counties. If the list is ready as envisaged by many here, I don't expect notification to exceed this year.

It seems that the default setting of most people is to believe bad news and to have negative assumptions. It wasn't long ago that Ezalb and nilnilsef informed us that the corporation has EH in mind. Even the GMD in June volunteered same info on getting back to the EH as soon as possible. Yet most of us here are spewing negativity like the 10 Hebrew spies sent to survey the promised land with Caleb and Joshua.
As for me I'm not surprised by the long delay. A friend of mine working in FIRS had to wait for 2 years before getting APL. Just pray that as the corporation is defining it's needs that they decide that we're needed.
