babybenbaby: Scotland is part of the UK. Canada is difficult to get to (their approval rate for Nigerians not encouraging), but once you get a student visa, complete your course, and get a post-study permit, you're on a path of sorts to permanent residency with their CEC and other programs. On the other hand, the UK is way, way easier to get to on a student's visa once you satisfy the requirements, and much more difficult to stay back in. 1 Like 1 Share |

pwettyhardey: If they are not doing interviews again, there no way anybody can know the student is pregnant and showing except at airport/ port of entry No you dont need POF ...but if the child is ever born before the pregnant woman travels then yes as the baby needs it own Visa and passport It is not easy schooling with a new baby and childcare cost is expensive, the pregant student should take that into consideration 1 Like |

Brothers and sisters in the house, to get CAS from my school I need to send 28days statement. I deposited money on the 6th of November, and started counting from 7th December. I intend printing the statement of account on the 4th of December which is the 28th day. It's on a Friday and I don't want to wait till Mon before printing the SOA because I want to quickly apply for Visa before the December rush. I just need affirmations from you people to know if I'm doing the right thing.thanks |

If you can convince the ECO on the importance of your kids being with you while your husband in Nigeria, you and your kids will be granted but as this will be within the ECO's discretionary powers, it has a 50/50% chance. You should include a cover letter which details the above along with correspondence from / arrangements with a nursery which you've contacted; you should state that your kids will be there while you're in school so that your study won't be negatively impacted. This usually helps. ekaita: |

From people's experiences, yes but it will cost you about N42,000 and it's not a given that you'll be able to do walk-in on a certain day. ateka7777: |

You're definitely being milked. Pls check your application to verify that the "agent" didn't fill any untrue information on your application as this may cost you later. Also download a copy of your application for reference and info verification when you're filling future applications. Preshy2004: |

TheOnly123: I love your response and positivity. The fact that cars kill people on high way accident doesn't mean many people wont buy one or more. There are opportunities in the UK, even far better than in Nigeria at the moment. One just have to ask questions and research. Challenges are different, what student bayo would face is different from what student Halima may face. But I believe nigerians are survival. The UK will be rolling out a point based immigration system in January 2021, with what is going on and how they are gradually bouncing back, I think more job opportunities would be created in 2021. 12 Likes 1 Share |

pwettyhardey: Yes you will be granted a visa but though the baby is not born yet.. you still need to show that you have enough money to take care of that baby when you deliver in the UK. So the question is... 1. how are you going to cope with pregnancy and full time studying? 2. When you give birth what happens to your studies? 3. Are you travelling with someone who will help you before and after delivery? You need to declare in the form that you are pregnant showing or not and put details of how you plan to handle the situation else the embassy will likely consider the well-being of that unborn baby first before your need for foreign education 2 Likes 1 Share |

ekaita:From experience of relatives 1. Applied without hubby and two kids - was denied 2. Applied as case one but contracted a care giver in the UK,had an agreement drawn, this agreement was attached to application and she was granted student visa alongside her kids. My advice go ahead with option 2, use Google, search around your school for care givers, hopefully you find one and it might work 1 Like |
