raumdeuter:Oh yes they do Instead of playing mind games and licking Trump's ass up and down. When they congratulate him and acknowledge his win then I will know instead of playing to one base and saying the other. Even Cornyn said what Cruz said but till today has not congratulated Biden or acknowledge his win like as if in 2016 immediately Trump was declared winner from both sides he was formally congratulated you understand the point I was trying to make from this but feel free to see it as a non issue.Let Cruz and Rubio play mind games with Trump's deplorable base and keep silent on Trump's theatrics instead of coming out and telling Trump he lost and congratulate the president elect like other senators like Romney and Toomey. 1 Like 1 Share |

salford1: This is still an argument between top law professors I read an article earlier this year, we're professors from Harvard law and Berkeley We're arguing if it is Constitutional for the president to pardon himself. If he wants to take the gamble, he could set the precedent and try it. But if he wants to be safe, he better resign and allow pence pardon him. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Today on why conservative Republicans aren't Christians. Today my pastor was preaching about the virtue of Jesus Christ when he was on earth and how he impacted the world, So he talked about, how Jesus housed the homeless, ministered to the sick, and feed the poor. So I tried to align it with modern day America Housing the homeless - refuge camps and sanctuary cities, republicans are trying to end it Ministering to the sick - free healthcare, and insurance coverage for pre exiting conditions, republicans are trying to end it too Feeding the poor - republicans call it handouts and socialism. I am damn sure if Jesus we're alive today, Republicans would call him a socialist just my take, have a nice day. And happy Sunday 10 Likes 3 Shares |

raumdeuter: You keep making this argument about GOP vs Democrats. While others are talking about the future stability of GOP with or without Trump influence. We know a house divided against itself cannot stand. You just claimed few posts ago that Trump won in 2016 because of Progressive rebellion against Clinton. Now GOP is more divided than ever with the moderate GOP being silenced or boxed to a corner by Trump followers. Wether you like to admit it or not Trump has majority of GOP in his pocket. Just imagine Trump announcing he will run again in 2024 or he is standing behind one of the convicted fellows he pardoned... What will moderate GOPs do? I don't think anyone is really ready to argue how future GOP vs Democrats election will turn out. We saw the polls not so accurate again and analysts are still checking the 2020 election data. Democrats fell short in many places, but they also made a lot of in roads in many traditional Red states... Too early to conclude now. Also we don't know what the mood of the country will be in 2022 or 2024... We know the outcome of elections are usually mostly decided by the independents in the swing areas. Let's wait till 2022, see how Bidden performs and guage the general mood of the country before we know if to expect a red or blue wave. For now what we don't know, going forward is how moderate GOP will handle Trump's influence... That is the koko bone of contention. 9 Likes 3 Shares |

Republican strategy back firing. RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel at a gathering in Georgia, regarding the run-offs, presumably canvassing for Republicans to come out in numbers and vote. She's taking questions from voters and voters asking 'How are we going to use money and work when it's (the Georgian elections) already decided?' Ronna replies saying 'it's not decided', adding that sitting it out is what will ensure it is decided. Voters reply asking......How do you know? Understand that this is a Republican State, with the backing of a Republican Presidency and power.....yet the voters are defeated psychologically, as a result of the stupid conspiracy and Trumpism, thinking that somehow, the opposition has managed to find a way to guarantee undetectable electoral victory, without being in power. This is stupidity at a level never quantified in history. The GOP want to continue to perpetuate the notion that Democrats pre-arranged electoral victory without detection, but at the same time need to tell voters that said notion is not true, so they can come out and vote. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

Timiofak:Funny you all talking "trump pardoning himself". For what exactly? Its not as if he has conceded he committed any crimes so what would he be pardoning himself for? I bet he's far too stupid and arrogant to pardon himself but if he does it won't be worth used toilet paper, except to magas of course. 4 Likes |

For the record, what evidence does Trump need to produce to prove voter fraud.

Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by budaatum: 2:56pm On Nov 29, 2020 |
basilico:Yes I can. Flynn, more than anyone, knows if he was framed or not, and if he was framed, he should not have pleaded guilty to crimes he did not commit. He was a retired United States Army lieutenant general and should therefore know to fight instead of surrendering needlessly as some claim. P.s. I'm not going to bother arguing his guilt more than this. Sufficient evidence of his guilt, sentence and imprisonment has already been provided on this thread, and if he was not guilty he should have appealed all the way to the Supreme Court which he never did. 3 Likes 1 Share |

basilico:He just needs to produce evidence of voter fraud, doh. Any evidence would do. Please note that evidence is not a sworn affidavit that "someone saw" and "someone said". Even videos would likely not do. But I'd leave it to you to provide whatever evidence you got. Courts will look at it and decide. So far its 1 to 30something. 3 Likes 1 Share |
