If you have been qualified for over 5years, you can become a member of ICAEW i think. otherwise you have to write some exams and same goes for ACCA as per exams tushqueen: |

Which name did she use on the application form? The name should be same as the name on the tuberculosis certificate. You can try submitting both passports but is the change of name a new development? Yakeeboy: |

Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by akanniade10(m): 9:51am On Nov 29, 2020 |
Tobexin: I am scared cos they use to hammer on joint bills, joint account, mortgage in both names, anything joint sha. Wedding will take place December 24th. We will be applying early next year as against May intake. I don’t think we will be having any of those join join things. I know marriage certificate will cover the genuine part, but what about the subsisting part. What can we do? |

akanniade10:Nothing to be scared of as far you have your marriage certificate and it a genuine marriage no course for alarm. I personally applied for a friend to come join her husband three days after their court wedding and only uploaded her marriage certificate and visa was granted.. note this advice is based on Tier 4 visa and not spousal visa as it involves so many proves to show the marriage is real. 2 Likes |

akanniade10: There's a difference between spousal visa and PBS dependant visa. Guidelines from the UK are usually very explicit. This is from page 107 of the guidelines for students taken from https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/points-based-system-student-route If the Student and the dependant partner are married or in a civil partnership acceptable forms of evidence include: - a valid document providing record of the marriage or civil partnership such as a marriage or civil partnership certificate. - a valid overseas registration document for a same-sex relationship which is entitled to be treated as a civil partnership under the Civil Partnership Act of 2004. If the Student and the person applying as a dependant partner are not married or in a civil partnership, they can demonstrate a genuine and subsisting relationship by providing evidence they have lived together for 2 years. This can include if the Student and the person applying as a dependant partner are not married or in a civil partnership, they can demonstrate a genuine and subsisting relationship by providing evidence they have lived together for 2 years. This can include • bank statements, council tax, or utility bills • residential mortgage statements or tenancy agreements • official correspondence or documents that link the Student and their partner and show they are living at the same address. This is not an exhaustive list and other documents can be used to demonstrate that a relationship is genuine and subsisting. Be careful not to add unnecessary docs that end up raising suspicion and doubts and showing desperation. They can smell it from afar. It's better they request for more. Give them what their guideline says - marriage certificate if legally married or provide the proofs requested if in a civil relationship and goodluck with your application. 3 Likes |

LagosismyHome: Guidance says marriage cert and joint bills. And also the guidance clearly states not to add unceasary docs or irrelevant docs. April 2019 Me and my big head after reading PBS dependant guidance back to back out in application for my spouse with marriage cert and only docs requested (maintanance, passport etc) na so we see denial for mail oh. When we reapplied, I put everything putable, pictures, chat call history, letter from naija government, letter from court etc. That's when we are granted the visa oh. Moral of the story Its better safe than sorry. |

umarwy: This interesting and noted ......as my family members came in January batch on tier 4 . All that was attached was their marriage certificate and wedding pictures. No issues at all , although they have a child together so birth certificate was also included with pictures of the family They both lived in nigeria the same house but had no evidence in terms of joint Bill's or lease .. my feedback was based on that experience, it good to note that it can be subjective and hence put all you have. Thanks 3 Likes |

Good afternoon everyone, I am a Tier 2 holder working on bringing my wife and kids to join me in the UK For those who have applied for tier 2 dependant visa recently, I am aware TB test, marriage certificate, birth certificate, CoS, POF are the major requirements on gov.uk. ordinarily, i know they might need other evidence of relationship such as pictures, joint account, immunization card etc. All of which I have. What other items can my dependants submit to boost their chances of approval? Also, is Monzo Bank statement acceptable to show POF? This is the only account I have in the UK. Wanted to send the money to the joint account but this one exchange rate is doing, anything can happen in 90 days. |
