I wish we could play Onuachu and osimhen upfront. Osimhen slightly behind. I think osimhen speed and Onuachu size will complement each other.

nah. You can't relegate the monster machine to such position. Monster machine is the undisputed numero super eagles striker.. He must not play behind other counterfeit strikers. They should work behind him and feed him like a king. Osimhen (monster machine) is their god on da pitch!.

All hail the king of Nigerian football!!! Monster Machine.

He is a good player and has shown that from his Denmark days

first of all, he has not had sufficient minutes in the gwg. Secondly, he is a very good player, watch his goals at genk.

Agreed

it's not only a matter of good crosses... The Onuachu i see in Genk is way different from the Onuachu in GWG.

i believe it has to do with confidence. It's not about Rohr using him well or not (because so far so good, rohr has never played him out of position, so that's not an excuse)...

All this young man needs is a confidence booster... Because for the super eagles, you see him afraid to even hold the ball for more than 2 seconds, but in his club side, you see him even bullying the defenders, like the second goal he scored today.

If this young man can beat his chest and say to himself 'I'm paul Onuachu! if i can do it in Genk, I can do more in Nigeria!' then the sky is just his starting point...

Super eagles as a team self no Dey inform but people want make onauchu Dey do well grin

You guys have started again there is nothinh special about onuachu please... he put this numbers all in Belgium ; farmers league. Give kayode the opportunities he has been given in the SE and watch them Score and assist goals same with nwakeme, simy, maja and dessers

Dude has shown us already what he has to offer... he is not an hungry striker even the aerial balls he rarely wins it in the super eagles

I don't think we need mull over him at all let's leave him to enjoy his club football while we concentrate on exploring other strikers to our ad vantage I really think Rohr has not been fair to Kayode and Yinka.

Thank you bro...the guy is an average striker at best there is nothinh special about him.

One can't give what he don't have

The Belgium league have always been a safe haven for Nigeria players rarely do Nigeria players don't perform there

I will take him serious when he moves to top 5 league and replicate same form

For now he should be allowed to enjoy club football
I just believe the back up Oshimen needs now is someone like kayode, maja or any other hungry striker

Stop saying he has not been given enough minutes...dude has enjoyed more minutes than any striker except nacho and oshimen so what's your excuse?

It is simple dude is not good enough for Africa football and super eagles

What better will they do if I may ask ?

You will still call for their heads

Same you guys that judge nwakaeme with very few minutes

One thing I noticed here is that once a player is not a favorite his head will easily be called for while others poor ones will be ignored

apart from psg, what is the difference between Belgium and French league. Una dey too predictable, once they invite one player una go call for the ones dem never invite. Once they invite dem and they show their avergeness, una go begin call for the first ones again. Onuachu is our most inform striker at the moment oga, he just needs to find his footing in the SE, I think too much criticism is making him underperform in the SE. Others should prove that they are better than him using club goals.

No mind humility33...d biggest culprit here is rohr who doesn't knw aw to use onauchu, like andrew rightly said, super eagles as a whole is out of form,it is d coach responsibility to knw aw to set up a system to bring d best in a player, not d player himself....I am sure if rohr were to b d coach of Genk, onauchu won't b scoring dis way...

Besides,I doubt if humility33 and odas berating onauchu performance will b saying d same if d guy were to b a foreign-born player.I am sure dey will b making a case for him...in a nutshell, hold rohr responsible for not knowing aw to set up d system to favour onauchu, not d oda way round, cos dis guy is hottest striker we av in Europe @ d moment and if care is not taking,ur preferred dressers might even go out on loan cos of him8)

The dude is just being sentimental. I'm not a fan of paul, but you rubbish the goals he has scored in the belgium league but you want a cyriel dessers (who is in the same belgium league and thesame club as paul) who is struggling for form in national team ahead of paul. How illogical can someone be?

make una stop all these machine talk. I'm saying it because osimhen looks like someone who can drop goals and assists at the same time. Messi will assist a striker and still drop huge figures himself. Onuachu is a good finisher but the truth is that he is just unlucky. Whenever he is playing in the SE, he does not even get chances. The way people blame him here would make you think he drops a yakubu style miss in the games he play. He is more physical than osimhen but osimhen has more speed and can set up good through passes. Both are good finishers.

We mustn't play 2 strikers throughout the match. Ndidi and aribo or ndidi and iwobi can pair then during second half, Onuachu goes and we revert back to three midfielders.

Lille and Marseille are easily better than those two. Nice as well.
Onuachu isn't playing well with Super Eagles because we can't fit him in. He's naturally an alternative to Osimhen.

Rohr is not getting it right in his player invitation. It is not compulsory to invite Onuachu.

I remember Westerhoff and I can say he will never invite Onuachu....Mike Obiku was doing well for Feyenord but Westerhoff believed in Samson Siasia... Richard Owubokiri was the highest goal scorer in the whole Europe but Yekini was there doing the needful...Chris Ohenhen was damn good in La Liga but Amokachie was doing well.... Finidi George was home based doing it at the right side and Westerhoff wasn't interested in Tijani Babangida who was Europe based....Amuneke with Zamalek benching Ikpeba the prince of Monaco.

I know Rohr would have failed with US 94 Nigeria team based on his philosophy, playing in higher league determine your invitation but sometimes it doesn't work in national team football.

Honestly with Iheanacho do we need Onuachu as back up to Osimehn?NO... really surprised seeing Iheanacho dropped for Onuachu (Afcon 2019)

Better league or not Kayode and Simy are better strikers than Onuachu.

French league is better than Belgian league.

The last I remember Belgium club playing in Europe cup final was Anderlecht vs Sampdoria 1991 UEFA cup with our own Stephen Keshi.Anderlecht lost two nil with brace from Gianluca Vialli.

Stephen Keshi ( Anderlecht)was the first Nigerian to play in any European cup final.

What i just want is a good and succesfull team. Rohr should just decide on his style and
stick to it.
A players effectiveness depends on the coach.
For example Maurinho and Guardiola will use different types of players because of their
different perspectives of football but they will still have good teams at the end of the day
Rohr should call players that fit into his tactics and football philosophy and produce a winning team.#
For example, Maurinho beleived in Drogba even though there were better strikers like shevchenko, crespo etc around.
Drogba fitted into his lone striker hard working striker style of play.
It is just about how your players vibe with you and fit into your style of play and get you results

Dts for a coach who has a philosophy, playing style, plan A and B,when facing different teams
But as for rohr,he has nothing of such,no philosophy, no playing style,so one can't really say dis particular player A or B fits into his tactics... Na to just pack players put for field, perform deir individual brilliance and hope for a win cool.....and as for onauchu..sorry na him case,I doubt if he will get it his mojo under rohr smiley
