psychologyshuby: Some people got their visa approved in the past with the school. I don’t know if people are getting their visas approved with it in this present moment, but since it’s a SEVP approved school, people can still get their visa with it, provided you convince the VO on why he should issue you the visa. Again, it seem the school hardly give GA to newly admitted students, but they give them some kind scholarship not more than $8k+ dollars towards offsetting tuition. If you have applied already and gotten admission, you should know. Try your luck at the embassy with them, you just may be lucky. Congrats to all those that has gotten their visas approved, and goodluck to those that will still try. Come and enjoy America, but it’s not so easy as peeps back home think. Best of luck all! 5 Likes |

To all those that sent me pm for sevis fee and wants it urgent and I didn’t assist or get back to them due to high demand, FCY scarcity and increase in rate due to new policy by CBN on FCY and BDC taking advantage as usual please don’t be offended. If you guys still need to pay the sevis fee or there are people here who still needs to pay sevis fee, just notify me via pm ASAP. Also you guys should be careful of who send pm or chatted you and claiming his Walspring and wanted to take advantage of you guys #Onelove 6 Likes |

Greenman2020: Well, I think first off, you sounded like "I just wanna leave this country". These are my pointers: 1. I really didn't care about the school, I just got it because someone there liked me and I got funding from it. Tip: Your reason for choosing the school can be a stronger point. 2. I don't have any money of my own, I'm going to live off donations and hand me downs. You didn't have to mention that even your living expenses is on them.... That's a red flag. Sounds like you can't foot the bill for even your meals Tip: Even if you have a fully funded scholarship, it's wise to show that you can foot the bills for other expenses as they arise. 3. But not admitted bit, totally unnecessary Tip: Sell yourself, make yourself desirable. Don't sound like nobody wants me, I was just lucky to get this. 4. Gre score was okay. Tip: try a different technique next time, state score for each section before adding it up 5. A Lagos based NGO? Seriously. Wrong description. Tip: A Lagos based organisation committed to helping Nigerians bla bla bla. You can even further link it to your course (that's another reason I opted for this course, to come back and help the organization I work to xyz) 6. Package yourself better. It's an art and a science and of course, show home ties and a stronger passion. Best of luck in your next application. Protip: Consider a different state when applying. omolewa1984jyde: If you know your way from Ibadan to Oshodi, that'd be good. From Oshodi, enter NAHCO/Airport road bus, stop at Toyota bus stop (Ladipo market), then cross over to the left side, you'll see DHL house. Less than 30mins from Oshodi, if there's no traffic. From Oshodi to Toyota should be N100-N150. 1 Like |

hairbyuj: It is highly unlikely anybody on this forum will take this type of your request seriously. There are a lot of samples you can draw from online to develop yours. Besides SOPs are program specific so you won't find a one size fits all writeup anywhere. You have to put in the work and make your findings 10 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning house, it’s been quiet lately but I’ve brought some good news. Some ppl I know personally that went for their interview this morning in abuja all got their visa I’ve not yet gotten their transcripts but I’ll share once I’ve it. One said she was asked all the course she’s going for was going to benefit her. Keep the faith, if it’s for you then nothing can hinder you from getting your visa. Good luck and may the grace of the lord be with all of us yet to take out interview. Amen 16 Likes |

Good morning everyone, please i need your help on this question, I paid for my sevis fee last year Nov 2019, so I'm planning to for my interview next month, the school retained my sevis number, and when I checked online for my sevis status, it still reads, "current status paid" can I proceed with my interview or do I need to pay for another sevis fee? My i-20 still carry same sevis number.. |

Thoby1: If your visa is approved and during the confirmation of your payments (before the visa is issued) embassy finds out that it has expired or unacceptable, you will be contacted to make a new payment and send the receipt to them. I know a student whose case was like this. Embassy contacted him to make a new payment and after the receipt was sent, the visa was issued. However, to be safe, call DHS and they will tell you what to do. But if you would like to risk going to the embassy with the current payment, sure, you can. If the embassy approved your visa and they want a new payment, you will be contacted to make a new payment. |
