Good morning gurus in the house. I applied for master in computer science university of south wales, but I'm yet to submit my transcript to them. My Question is how long will it take them to process the admission? They sent this to my mail last week 1 Like

Hoverboy27: I’m not taking it to the spiritual side. You need to read and understand what someone type. Things that work for me might not work for you. Anything that’ll be in my favor and God has hand in, it always work well for me and I don’t have to stress myself. I’ve studied myself to that extent. I put God first in everything, I work hard and I’m independent. As long as you are genuine and you put your mind into something, you work hard and have faith in God (as long as God want you there) things will definitely work out and you’ll make it. One thing about me is that I’m super positive person. If anyone says it’s impossible, I always believe in myself and I definitely know that it’s possible for me and I’ll make it and succeed. If you know me personally, you’ll understand what I’m trying to say. My husband knows that I hate negativity around me and I believe in possibilities 15 Likes |

Islamiat01: This can easily be found on google .... it very good to develop a habit of searching for information . A one year course is given a visa of one year and an extra 4 months. So total Visa is 1yr4 months IHS fee calculation states that : If the duration of visa is not a round number of years, it needs to be rounded up to the nearest half year..... so in this case the fee would be 1.5 times £470 or the usd equivalent 4 Likes |

Hi, please can anyone say how long it takes to get a CAS letter once you have submitted your bank statement to the school? I applied to Teesside and this was a requirement that has delayed me till now. It's a bit annoying. Sent it to them on Friday, yet to get a response. I've been in Abuja over 2 weeks now because earlier I came in for my tb test. I would like to finish with my application before going back home. Hope I can get a date for biometrics early in December too 2 Likes |

Hi @omopapa @ everyone @omopapa, thanks a lot for the information you shared on Biomedical Sciences in the UK. I found a university in Coventry that offers MSc Biomedical Sciences with placement but the tuition is quite high (around 17k). I am considering applying for University of Chester's IBMS accredited MSc Biomedical Sciences. I intend to also apply for unpaid positions in the lab when I get to the UK. The problem is I don't think I will have enough time to get up to 2 years laboratory work experience in Nigeria. I intend to start school in September 2021. I already have 6 months laboratory experience and I intend to volunteer in a medical laboratory in Nigeria from December 2020 till August 2021. This will make my total laboratory experience 1 year and 2 months. Please, I need your ADVICE on what to do. I will also appreciate any recommendations you have concerning less expensive universities that offer MSc Applied Biomed in UK. I checked the link that you shared on this page but nothing came up. Thanks PS: I have a BSc and MSc in Biochemistry from Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

The best option would have been to apply to HCPC through the international route but u might need MLSN registration. However, volunteering in U.K. labs will give u experience and recommendations for any job openings. Check out this link for list of accredited unis https://www.ibms.org/resources/documents/ibms-accredited-post-graduate-degree-courses-updated-sept-2020/1accredited-course-higher-updated-2020-september-11.pdf Also, there’s a training you can apply for here in the uk. It’s a 6 weeks crash training course in Microbiology or Histology. The training is about £3500 but they accept monthly payment. They help with ur CV and recommend you for jobs via recruitment agencies to NHS hospitals. You can get locum jobs from there and work ur way towards securing a permanent job. The transcript is a MAJOR document in assessing your application to determine whether u meet the academic criteria. It shld have been attached when filling the application form. I’m sure they will get back to you to request for it and other documents but u will need to act fast and reply them ASAP as time is already ticking for January intake djsmacker01: |
