There is no cause for alarm..they don't really even look at that. The most important are your documents. I didn't submit any checklist but I got my visa
Thank you

Hello gurus good day, I just got my refusal, and it really did not make any sense to me, my salary comes in 2 installments, 1 titles as basic the other titled as allowances which I declared with my statement with no other deposit and my pay slip. Even on my employment letter and salary review letter its all stated there. and those payments come together. the basic is the amount that is taxed.

Na wa o.
I have seen the refusal letter. They are just lookin for how to deny you as i feel they think your father will allow you overstay and/or that you would decide not to come back. I have seen this happen over and over again.

Meanwhile In Nigeria here some organizations abeg their allowances pass d basic pay by far. Take for exmple NASS. they will quote one small amount as basic pay , check the allowances na.. na die. A total of both sums is equal to the person’s monthly salary so I really do not get the point of this ECO.
If they want to deny you, this should not have been the reason.

I have a cousin whose basic pay is 160k, allowances 850k. Total salary is over 1.1m monthly.. so pls what does this ECO mean tht it doesnt make sense that ur allowances will b more than basic pay. Pls they should come to Nigeria. Edakun i tire.

If it were me, this was flimsy. U attached letters that stated this payment style... also he/she referring to ur last refusal that u didnt address why you were denied, you might as well reapply.

Get from ur company an annual emmolument sheet or something to show your total pay in a year. I honestly dnt know what they wnt.

Sorry about this. If u need further help let me know

Thank you sir for your response, I would follow your advice of getting annual emolument. I brought my rejection here that was refused in February, which contained deposits that wasn't explained well, the gurus in the house including you pointed out where I likely shot myself and advised I keep my account clean of any deposit aside salary which I diligently adhered to for 6 months. only to be told I didn't address it what else are they expecting me to do, I had no single deposit in that account except my salary (which comes in 2 credits of 35k/460k, reflecting both deposits with my pay slip also showing my salary and allowances) I honestly don't know what they want for the suspected "I may run away" I showed proof of my wife and kid (their passports, birth certificate, rent agreement, wedding cert. images of 3 of us etc etc). I feel very bad.

I am also afraid to say that this has greatly dropped ur chances. Greatly.
U are a potential overstayer is what they are thinkin, all other talk is format. Big format.
I hope gurusssss in the house can shed light on what else you can do.

What if I apply for tourist visa (where I would be staying in a hotel) would that make any difference? where by proving my father is in nigeria and I would not be staying with him because he is not in the UK, so i have to stay in a hotel
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mekaboy(m): 12:16pm On Dec 01, 2020
Gurus in the house, i have been scared of applying for UK visa simply because of Tax Clearance certificate.Thats why i visit dubai often. I am an entrepreneur have a business venture registered in 2017 with a bank account.

Have a family member in UK who can send invitation and state that she will yake care of feeding and accommodation.

I have 3 accounts 1 which is the business which regularly have large deposits. Then another account which i usually transfer funds from the business account for out going transactions. This account also recieves huge deposits from the business account. The third account is my savings account which i transfer funds between 150,000-250,000 to from my second account.

At the moment business account has about 5,000,000 at the moment. The second account has about 1.5 and the savings has about 3,000,000.

Also have property valued at 16,000,000.

Now my challenge is that i want to state that the trip will cost me 500,000 since accommodation is take care of for 12 days. The issue of the total cost of the trip not being more than 2 times disposable income. So that means my disposable income should be 250 000 and monthly expenses is 50k. That means i earn 300k monthly after tax. So my total annual income should be about 3.9-4m.

Annual tax should be about 350k. And tax clearance is about 3-4 years back. Meaning u have to pay 350k X about 3 years= about 1.1m or more.

Do i pay this and get tax clearance to apply, or appy with only statements and property documentation without tax document?

Or should i build an account for 6months as an employee for someone.?

Pls build account for 6 months. Hve a fixed salary. Leave all the other confusing stuff.
Business funds are for the runnin of ur business and not for ur personal spendings.
And try to leave an account that is devoid of all this ur transfer and large deposits.

Hi guys. Please see the attached and let me know what to do when i decide to reapply.

I thought their focus should be on If an applicant can truly afford a trip. Not on whether you have too much money or how you run your business. Expecially since I specifically stated in the application that the money I intend to spend on the trip will be coming from my investment account that currently has a 9 digit in it. I budgeted 3million plus for the trip.

Where did i go wrong?
Was there a particular reason you submitted ur business account statement? ECO sef said he doesnt understand why u are mixing up funds between the two accounts, personal and business... i also dnt even understand how yur budget also was 3 million.
Jehova nissi these guys dnt care about 3 million naira budget and dnt care about ur multiple credits and debits. I sincerely doubt you read this thread if not you would have understood this was a major error from your side.

And yes their major wahala is how your money is made, what is happening in ur account, what is not happening in it and then if u can afford the trip, not only if u can afford the trip.

Follow what giselle237 rightly said and most importantly
work on the reason for refusal don't try to change what you filled in your application initially so as not to complicate issues or lead to a ban.

The ECO are not inquisitive about your tax clearance just make sure you pay yourself a fixed amount monthly from the company's account for six months to your personal account. No unnecessary deposit apart from salary and also ensure a particular amount for your expenses(set a standard) in such a way that your travel budget will not be more that 2 months your disposable income.

You will need just
1. Your salary statement of account of 6 months
2. Cac document
3. Document showing you are the ceo/md of the company and no. of allotted shares
4. ID card and other relevant document
