somehow:Do you know how many percentage Nigeria government takes via foreign oil companies like shell, Agip, total etc when they engage in drilling of crude oil? You think it is your resource or you think you can use what does not belong to you. I pity him sha, when those militants engage his refinery if he refuse to settle them. Why can't he build it up north. |

CocoaOla: I think Dangote and Rabiu came to this game late. Nigeria should have had a working refinery more than ten years ago It's now the world is moving away from oil. Hope they break even. But the future is technology, creativity and innovation. Anyone that wants to bet big in the future should look into those. |

My problem is with the Southerners who mouthed every time that Northerners are reaping them off and in fact, they’re parasites. Why the likes of Odili, Duke, Obi and host of billionaires in the South-South are not taking advantage of oil business in their domain by partnering and run a private refineries to employ their people and make money? Why does it have to be the Northern investors in Imo, Akwa-Ibom? In few years, we will be complaining how they have taking over Oil business in the South. Where are the Economists from the South who come on TV shows every time displaying theoretical economic applications and boasting their high literacy over North? The reason is simply because it is not free money and it takes hardwork. Our Southern brothers want free money devoid of any hardworking and accountability. Akwa-Ibom is the largest Oil producer in Nigeria. This BUA guy understands the volatility in that region but still staking his neck because the numbers is good for business profitability. The indigenes are sleeping now but will wake up in misery. |

Speaktruth88:Na you dey carry last joor. I doubt any reasonable person would go north where they slaughter people like chicken, in the long run that region would be ravaged by famine according to statistics. In time to come those investments by your top business men will crumble due to instability, wars. How many southerners own business or do business up north as we speak. Na last you and your people dey carry now abi you no dey see road? |
