Don't generalize this acting broke for a while. I hate lies and pretends if you act like what you're not to me WE ARE DONE. Because your exes treated you like she doesn't mean I will, life is a risk and love is a bigger risk.
My last line: Different girls with different approach.

Well I am feel compelled to drop my input here.

I may seem callous but who suffer epp?
Na who see fish wey dem put for im mouth, e spit am troway?

It's high time guys understand how these things work. You don't slither into a relationship when you wallet is as flat as mama Femi bedroom slippers booby.

You don't force people into relationships and make them suffer. Ever wondered why the rich marry the rich? Everyone wants financial security.

Brothers, make una go update una sef and stop screaming women love money.

No daughter of mine is going to marry a pauper

My G below get no chill. If you dey work and you see better job, you nor go update?

Situation change. Wat if financial crisis arises ?

Bros, I don't think you understand the morals of the post.

Nobody plan to suffer.

Life is up and down.
Today you are up, she's with you.
Tomorrow if you down, are u saying its okay for her to leave you?

I understand the morals. Guys need to take a chill pill. HE WHO FINDS A GOOD WIFE OBTAINED FAVOR FROM GOD. There is a search about this.

Guys should man up and stop being crybabies

Not all girls are like that. I spent more than half of my scholarship fund on my ex, well, he spent and I didn't object.
Not all Nigerian girls are leeches, some are willing to help you grow, sometimes at the detriment of their own growth.

That's the matter between the couple to sort over. If one of them wanna bounce, would you put that person in bondage under the guise of a relationship.

Would it take anything from you making your point without insults.

Whatever you chose to see in the society is your prerogative.

But agreeing with me that your daughter wouldn't marry a pauper makes you a confused one.

Maybe your family prides themselves with penury which is not bad

But restrict your caustic thinking to yourself.

Please, kindly point out the insult in my response! I will wait...

That I agreed with something in the midst of your confusion doesn't equally make me confused.

I have pointed out clearly where you erred, put forth a better argument. If you are too full of your own understanding to see it, that can't be my problem.

Bringing my family into your rant in itself is beyond insulting, but I will overlook it, even laugh it off, especially since my family is quite well to do (no liabilities among the female folks)! So, your tirade missed its mark quite poorly.

In the event that you missed the crux of my submission, let me reiterate... In this day and age, no woman should be waiting on a man or men for financial uplifting or marry a man in the hopes that he will lift her up financially. Relationships and marriages ought to be mutual investments from both parties, not women coming empty handed hoping to reap where they didn't sow. This also goes both ways.

This is why I said I won't raise daughters with the mindset of entitlement and over dependence... If you wish to do the exact opposite, your choice sir. Cheers!!!

Had a similar case. Everything was going well till I lost my job. She couldn't adjust cos she was used to enjoyment. We were going for our marriage course, I had done introduction sef. She just woke up one morning and decided to break ties with me. She aborted the pregnancy.

I had since moved on though.

I don't know what happened to the girls of our time. Our moms suffered well with our dads without complain. Love was REAL and TRUE then. It was beyond money.

God will help our generation!
You should know that the new generation of girls are nothing to write home about

Do they write gold digger on forehead? I just told one that I'm a cleaner in the hospital. We met in the waiting room so I already put my ward coat in the car. She didn't want to give me her contact and I could already tell the disappointment in her face after I said I'm a cleaner. I hope our paths cross once again sha. Pathetic creature.

Why are u guys so quick to tagging all Nigerian ladies as gold diggers?
Yes, some ladies are more interested in the money of guys but some just want someone who will give them peace, love and respect

Its really not fair on the side of ladies who work hard and pay their bills

Women generally love to be cared for but not every girl is after money.

Some nigerian ladies are very contented and even encourage men to be their best

Thats if you want to be fair in your judgement
Bae 99.9% are gold diggers in fact they are now onions diggers.

the guy say act broke. You can double your hustle and be more rich but act broke to know your woman's true nature. He is 10000% right
What's the guarantee that she does not catch you and pretend to play along?
What if all the women he dates fail this acting broke test?
What if he truly becomes broke in a few months later and the woman who passed his acting broke test now dumps his *ss?
A woman's nature is beyond passing some silly ''acting broke'' test! Women rarely have the luxury of time men have ! At age 24 - 28, they are already at their prime, and must settle down due to Nigerian societal pressure or miss out and become evening newspapers grin . There's not enough time to be sampling if a broke man is a good candidate when they are other equally financially buoyant young men out there sliding into her DM daily.
A man can have all the time to study a woman's nature with his acting broke test till he meets the woman that passes his test at 50 years old. wink

You need to understand that's the way life is - Self-preservation . Double your hustle and you'll be taking people's girlfriends instead cheesy cheesy cheesy

Why is Jumoke trending on Twitter?

Jumoke has been trending on Twitter since yesterday, check why here;

'If you must choose a lady to marry in Nigeria, one of the criteria is to act as if you are BROKE for at least few months. I mean act REAL BROKE to an extent of asking her for N500 You must know if she pretends or not . If not you only postponed her true nature .

These ladies don't know that event change in life - A well to do guy of today can become poor tomorrow and a poor guy of today can be Rich tomorrow. They don't care about tomorrow anymore but today.'

Going into marriage lately is the real living in bondage.
