If you're wondering how Backyards look like You'll normally see a form of garden a place to seat, glass house and sometimes a tree, if the tree is too big, your neighbors wont be too happy as it will block the sunlight. Sun is a big thing here. 4 Likes

You can see that big bird, it's a sea gull. If you ever eat outside, you must watch out for them. Especially at city center where you buy snacks and try to sit by the pier to Eat and relax and almost instantly, it's gone. Hahahah It has never happened to me before sha. The best I've had outside is a glass of wine on one evening. I can see why my date insisted on just drinks. Maybe its cos of these notorious birds. They're especially fond of McDonald's. 4 Likes

I have fallen Prey to Procastination. Let me use this opportunity to put as much as I can here. If you have any issues, query, opinion, just send them in. I'll graciously reply If you are ever to come to a country that's doing well. It means every human being regardless of occupation matters and are well paid. God help you if you cant change bulbs yourself, the cost of getting electrician in to do it is Shocking. Sense will make sure you go on YouTube and research. Even some electricians that have bigger fish to fry will refuse and if you insist, they double and multiply the price as needed. You can imagine paying #100,000 to change bulb. That's incredible. Basically, you might be paying them nothing Less than minimum wage to get things done, some of them will bargain to be paid an estimated number of hours that it takes to do the job, this is how it gets complicated. They can get insidious and would purposely leave something out so you invite them over next day to finish the job, hahaha. With the right car loan and installment, its not a surprising thing to see a tailor or plumber or factory worker drive a Benz that you'll see politicians drive and you'll be running after them screaming twale.... A friend of mine wanted to adjust her cloth and was told to pay €15 just to roll her Jean's and cut. To get a patch closed might require €10. Its very important to get variety of clothes adjusted before you come here if you fancy customized clothes. I ran to joom and aliexpress as a form of DIY. 8 Likes 2 Shares

Amethyst101:In the Nigerian bookshops, there are alot. Especially in lagos and in some university's library. For the recommendation, the first thing I'll say is that reading is not for Everyone. If you are motivated to read, I'll suggest to start from the autobiography of who you like to be. Dont rush it, only read when you feel like. Pdf are readily available and I can easily skim through when I'm bored as I go through the day. Like in traffic, queues, lying down before I sleep.....instead of fuming in traffic, grab something you have passion about and read. Passion is important, it's really sad footballer dont write. But at least we have some figure heads who have shaped the history of the world that we get fascinated about. My church spoke about Benjamin Franklin and I still met the guy in Assassin Creed, Rogue, it's a Video game, I got hooked and ran to get his autobiography, I managed to read William wilberforce, Bill Clinton, I couldn't finish bill Clinton but one thing I picked up and can never was that he volunteered in election campaigns of American presidents when he was young and he got really inspired. I also read Novels by Arthur conan doyle, he wrote Sherlock Holmes, this man used some techniques of the character to solve three real life national cases, I read some books before they became movies like The Elf stone of Shanara which made a series, Shanara Chronicles, Fifty shades of grey, I found the scenes in the other room too extreme, books by Stephen king, the film isn't as scary as the book, sidney sheldon series, was close to reading Harry Potter but I went for the film first , "Mockingbirds don't do one thing except make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corn cribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird." Also read wizard of oz, interview with the vampire, pride and prejudice..... I might delay in replying some messages, I usually will wait when its convenient so I can reply in the best way possible. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Today is like the 5th or 6th day for a creating an Awareness about Gender abuse. Last week some girls raised Nude Privacy issue on Twitter here in the Irish Space. It also happened in Nigeria also, where there's a breakup and the enraged Ex-BF will circulate the nude of the Gf with her face showing, they want the Oireachtas i.e the irish parliament to pass law that sends anyone guilty of such to sometime in jail, to cool off from the heartbreak. Another striking abuse is street harassment, you guys will remember months ago, I used to think girls liked it. Although I was too busy with my life to be whistling at girls. It's very important I clarify this today. A came across a word today, Catcalling. This is where you whistle, wink, shout, make sexual comments to a passing woman. Personally for me, I never always considered women on the street to be viable unless I get nice green light. In Nigeria, I have been gotten such, I can remember at the Atm queue, this girl just kept looking at me, and she's the type of lady I would go for, I just made sure I hung around pretending I was making a call after withdrawing till she approached me, that's how we got in contact. In the bus in Lagos, I've had girls start up a conversation and we clicked and even exchanged number. One that used her dp with a fancy pose kept her screen unlocked and she intentionally kept it in a way I'll see it repeatedly, in all I gave her my number. I'm not bragging oooo. Just giving you instances where you look sharp and presentable, and act aloof and they come to you. A man shouldn't be thinking of sex and girls all the time tho. Look good and classy, let them come to you. Even in Ireland, I get embarrassed a lot, sometimes, ill be deeply thinking and cycling and bunch of girls will start waving, the first time it happened to me, I turned around me to see what's happening, it's awkward, I've had young kids try to be nice and scream, HOWDY, some tell me, NICE HAIR, though majority think I fixed it and it's not natural. I just smile n wave. I'm mostly on my headset listening to some podcast, music... cycling is so much fun, I can daydream as I want unlike if I drive. Fewer girls can't jog in the park because of the Boy gangs on bicycles, these are usually teen boys with the latest bike and bored. Women are insecure about taking a stroll. As bad as it is in Lagos, it's shocking in USA, in the video link, a guy was walking next to a lady in the video for good 8 mins. You need to hear how she blasted him. No one wants to feel like a celeb, and the worst thing is to not have the protection and body guards that celebrities do. And feel vulnerable has caused a lot of them social anxiety and all. If you can be identified, she could report you and sue for damages, especially in a work setting, the man could lose his job, women don't want to feel like objects. I have been stunned by the beauty I see when I walk, just feed your eyes, appreciate what God has created, in your mind, you know she's doing well and continue chasing your dream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35KqGNa1FGA 9 Likes |

This a lot worse here in Nigeria especially in busy markets girls passing by are often times molested with derogatory statements like "fine girl u go sweet oh" and worse to the extent of grabbing their yan$h and boóbs, these girls most times are helpless to confront the persons who make these statements. We really need to cut it down. Meanwhile 100k views Chiggs Chiggsglover: 1 Like |

Goodman247:Lovely lovely question. I intentionally left it out. You're free to approach in certain settings online with apps like Tinder.... or offline, in places where ladies are open to advances, although the way they do things here is different, your money doesn't matter unless you have a million euros..hehe. The rule is basically different. I'm yet to experience this. Online is the major way in this pandemic. It's also fun to meet in university, seminars, meetings, church, basically she's not rushing off somewhere. From simple greeting and ice breakers for example the weather, you could easily go from general to specifics. 4 Likes |
