I just received my counterfoil and my application status changed to approved. Decision envelope dispatched back to Abuja VFS. I am still waiting for my LOI till now.
My passport was sent to Abuja VFS on Nov. 24 and I've recieved 5 emails already from VFS based on the status of my passport.
I guess its moving fast when compared to what I am reading here. I'm glad I sent my passport to Abuja from Lagos.

I sent via DHL 2-way courier, when should I expect to receive it based on the current status?

I am a Lawyer with registered Law Firm, I Have an account which i have fixed for almost a year but right now it is no more fixed. The Balance in the account is #6,500,000 (22,110CAD) and another account which i run on a regular basis with Balance of #2,500,000(8,500CAD). I have Paid Tution fee. My Program is MBA(2years). Spring Intake

Total Estimated school - 17,500CAD
Tuition deposit Paid - 6,000CAD
Total POF at Hand(after paying tuition deposit) - 30,610CAD

My Question

1. Is the above account balance enough for POF and if it is enough, How can i package it?
2. Can I submit the two account as POF(Combined)
Please I need the insight of Seniors here as i am about to submit my application.

Please, is the issue of Academic Vs. General Test Type for NSE requirement resolved? What is the correct position please?

DCNM:
The instruction says: You must submit a proof of: your International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Submit a language test result that shows a score of 6.0 or higher in each skill (reading, writing, speaking and listening) on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

According to a tweet made by IRCC to SDS applicants, they accept both Academic and GT for study permit processing. I registered for IELTS GT

I think the issue of IELTS type applies when it's required by your school for admission.

*I stand to be corrected

It has ended in praise!

I sent my passport November 5th to Abuja VFS via, DHL.... 2 way courier.

About 3 - 4 days later, I got the acknowledgement from VFS.

And then I got an email saying my passport was sent to Lagos. (Which I didn't understand since I sent to Abuja.)
I received several other emails, counterfoil and letter of introduction.

Long story short, I received my passport yesterday via DHL.

I didn't have to call or send a message to VFS.

If you can, send your passport to Abuja VFS. Lagos VFS seems to be wasting too many people's time.

It shall end in praise for us all in Jesus Name.

How much did you pay and to which account please. Also, did you email them the receipt? If yes, which email please.

I got the email saying it was being processed, then counterfoil and email saying that the decision envelope is in Abuja.

Sequel to this,

The 3rd mail they sent to me on the 18th of Nov goes thus

My tracking ID has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC

And it is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing

Abuja queue two is where most counterfoil were assigned to, and that is why they are going to Abuja. I got that info from my GCMS notes

Funny enough it was LAGOS V F S I submitted to

For me eh the mistake I made was even sending my passport to Lagos VFS honestly. Person for close eye pay the transmission fee for Abuja VFS and get his passport with peace of mind.

Well this is my last business with them so make them enjoy.

VFS is saying passport is ready for collection but still no Counterfoil, Change in status or LOI as is the norm before one gets the collection message from VFS.

Are these pple playing games with me? I’m gonna sue them if it turns out they’ve not sent my passport to CVO and they’re just giving rubbish updates cos tomorrow makes 30days since I got my PPR which is the time frame given in the PPR letter.

[Doea it mean That if you have your funds for your program and your husband and inlaw still want to co sponsor you it will look like a desperation to the cisIsaa officer quote

author=ndoeyopbennet post=90798845]

I understand you very well and I know that it wouldn't hurt to have a sponsor. However, the point I'm making is that the applicant has a strong advantage which many do not have. He shouldn't complicate his application by adding too many unnecessary documents. He should, instead, focus on where refusals can came from now: home ties, prospects, documentation. [/quote]

Please was eligibility review started before you received this NSE request?? cos I am also a sept applicant and my eligibility review has started since, I am guessing that’s why I didn’t get an NSE request from IRCC.

Since when did your eligibility review start please.

This thing is confusing oo. Some sent to Lagos and got a mail that their passport has been sent to Abuja. You sent your passport to Abuja and still got a mail that it has been sent to Lagos.
But it seems like Abuja is a better option to Lagos. We the upcoming batch dey learn o grin smiley
