Who Can Prove Benin-ife Myth On Oduduwa With Archeological Fact by gregyboy(m): 4:56pm On Dec 02, 2020 |
If the yorubas or benin can prove this two tribe meant im the psst pre 1800 Come here and prove it We know the benin and ife agreed they shared connections with oduduwa and they once had a connection but it seems that the connection benin -ife had didnt even carry a nearby village along and in benin the relationship looks false, and om written record it seems non existing and not even to say archeological fact Maybe both the yoruba and benin played us with the non existed myth, maybe it was done for political benefits who knows So we are waiting for someone to bring fact and not just oral accounts I believe the benin oduduwa myth was told in the late 1800 for political unity and it was really not historical like we all thought RedboneSmith Afam4eva AreaFada2 Etrusen TAO11 BabaRamota1980 I would be here defending against the connection with fact I think everyone deserves to know the truth Be it igbo, yoruba So if you're benin like me come out and support what you believe or better still you can watch while we debate As for me i will challenge the palace on this very topic TAO11 please i give you the honor to comment first please no oral documents from both benin or yoruba should exceed 1897, but archaeological fact can span till this this very moment is allowed Balogunodua If this thread ends, We can deduce some known fact If there was really no Benin-ife connection the possibility are 1) the title oba is indigenous to benin since oromiyan really didnt come to benin from ife and the title oba had probablh found is ways into, yoruba vocabulary through benin terrritorial, expansion 2) the supremacy battle would now cease to end 3) it would, unveil us to the fact that few people can hide the truth from the masses if need be But if reverse is the case Then ife sovereignty over benim was, indeed true facts and the title oba, was from yorubas I just believe we shouldn't debate like people who never visted school this fact and materials are readily available for our debate with no stress no free off charge and yet we disgard them for no reason just to settle a non cognitive and fallacious debate to uplift our tribal ego 1 Like |

All the history of Edo and Oyo Empire is simply about Royal Dynasty , coming together, building of civilisation and building of empire from various existing human settlements especially Mesolithic Volta-Niger populations, is where Yoruba, Edo , Istekiri , Dahomey and many come from that's far in the days before Sango, Oya , Osun and other gods walked the earth Well the connection between Benin (Igodomigodo) Ile Ife , Oyo , is just as simple as reading about Sango Olukoso, Oranmiyan, Oduduwa, and even more recent Uthman danfodio . |

Tao11 seems shy i would help her She brought this image below from a yoruba foreign author biller, blier is a foreign yoruba author one of her specialty is on ife history, jusy the way we have afc ryder a foreign author too who specializes on benin history I posted afc ryders work as my screenshot above him discrediting benin ife relationship On the othet hand biler has accepted and probably tries to find way to belive on the oral history benin and the yorubas have told about oduduwa sending his son oromiyan coming to benin, but one thing about blier is her desperation to connect both history even with illogical points or false point Now the images points out a benin sculpture found in ife, in bliers work, and yet when we check on net to find the details, or how it was found in ife we get lost, and seem non existing I have also begged tao11 to also share the direct referencing to the book or share the pdf to get further details she seems not to have replied me So its eithet Tao11 is desperate to falsefully connect both tribe or blier is desperate to connect them and sell her books Anyway you all can do the research yourself on that sculpture Am a free thinker if you dont mind

Without ife, Benin history is not complete, that is why the ife Benin connection can never be erased, if you Edo want to erase it,we Yoruba will not allow it,every inch of Benin belongs to us,because we are your source, mouth and opening useless threads can not save Benin from our hold, anytime I look at Benin kingship I see Yoruba, anytime I see Benin bronze I see Yoruba, there gods are Yoruba, so after stealing our civilization, you want to things upside down, I repeat without ife;Benin has no history 1 Like |

You are not somebody that fall for evidence and proof, if you are you would have stopped all the unnecessary debate, I really respect Tao 112,she is excellent, she tried to open your eyes to the truth, but you hate the truth, because the truth is bitter, and the truth Is that Yoruba's are your father 1 Like |
