Rightly said. Ourtv is the decoder that comes to mind as we show live Laliga and Bundesliga matches including Russian league and all kinds of exciting sports not leaving out other interesting entertainment and news channels as well. What is more, You don't pay any monthly subscription for life. All our 40+ channels are free for life.

Digitman:

I may be wrong but if I am not mistaken, your number one priority is sports and any other thing is just to while away time.

So I am going to build my own little contribution on that foundation.

To begin with, One will notice that you once had a particular kind of decoder that was used with a big dish to view some specific channels on a sat position.

Definitely it wasn't an FTA channels because you must have been viewing premium sport channels on it back then.

Which for now will make big dishes still relevant, should you still choose to want to have such kind of feel again. Because such kind of decoder that does such a thing are still in the market and one of our brother here will give you all the info you need to get started.

However, when you choose to satisfy the curiosity of the combo of small dishes to satisfy your quest for sports. It may likely be a series of random FTA channels , located at various sat position.

I am not a sports person so my information is inconclusive but only just a baseline.

So when it's just watching sports strictly on FTA without any backyard door. Names like these begins to whisper in my ears

Ourtv located as 32.9 degree east

Ourtv sports located at 42.5 degree east

Gtv sports/ max TV located at 28.2 degree east.

Just to name a few I can possibly remember.

I believe strongly that many sports fan in the house will come and help me to do justice, in helping you make the right decision.

On the issue of multi streaming, ourtv agent has not given us a progress report, if it is work in progress or management is not looking at that direction for now. As you were made to know adding that to your decoder will increase your market share in both long and short run.

These three lnb are strong brands of lnb.
I feel they converge signals slightly differently. What do you think?

For me O, number 3 is the best of them all, it gave my 9e a boot of 8% (76 to 84%) on my 1.8m offset.

The first one has many duplicate, was in Arena on Saturday and noticed brown and yellow carton of the same lnbf with different prices.

Is the above all MBC on Ku or Cu, and what is the tp for this?
Thanks in advance.
12284 V 27500 KU BAND. Sorry for the late reply
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by SlyCharlie(m): 10:35pm On Dec 02, 2020
Digitman:

The Particular MBC HD he is referring to is located in 26 degree east ku band. However it's not receivable with 90CM dish but from 3m up. Except you have such kind of big dish. It will be irrelevant asking for tp.
Hey Digitman, I think you've got it mixed up.
The MBC's I was referring to on 26°E is actually
receivable on 90cm dish in Nigeria.

If you remember, on 26°E, MBC is receivable via two TP's.
The first one is 11270 V 27500.
This one is MPEG 2 and you'd need 3m dish in Nigeria to receive it because it's on MENA beam.

The second one is 12284 V 27500.
This one is also MPEG 2, and it's receivable with 90cm dish in Nigeria because it's North/West Africa beam.

So WaytoGo, you can actually try MBC on 26°E with your 90cm dish, only that it's not HD as I earlier claimed.
oh, I hope your health is better now @Digitman?

What's happening to 51°E from the west side sometimes? It sometimes, either the channels go blank, it's breaking, or the channels refuse to show pictures until maybe some secs or a minute later.

...and finally...

17e, 28e, 32e, 42e, and 51e .... cool

I have to say achieving this above 6ft wasn't an easy job to do, and having to twist and work the binding wires up there is a whole lot of tasks but we thank God.

You can't accomplish this without patient, tenacity, endurance, perseverance, zeal, passion, and full commitment. Really!

Above all, thanking everybody that contributed to my breakthrough, the old, the new, and all of the above especially, Digitman who painstakingly sacrificed his time, resources, and energy to show us the way.

I am, therefore, from today, moving officially from the newbie level to a standard FTA installer and bird hunter..loll cheesy

In essence, and above all, I want to thank God for the strength, for not allowing me to fall up there while fixing these cumbersome stuff up, above there. Lool. E no funny at all cheesy

Thanking everyone once again. cool
