No school ask of any of the certificates (best of my knowledge) but you may be required to supply your start and end date in schl application.
While for US embassy application, you will also supply that start and end date of high school. Carry your schl cert go embassy, anything fit happen

Did they waive TOEFL for you? (Auburn University)

No, but you can still get across to your graduate coordinator. Your Department might waive it for you.

Wait for the day you will hear US embassy Abuja denied 10 people in a row.
This is not how the embassies work. The timing of your interview and the VO you meet and other factors determine how well you will do. The same Black guy that approved NoTimeZone today refused almost everyone he interviewed--at least 3 people I know from this thread.
What I am saying is that it doesn't matter which embassy you go. But of course, Abuja rarely sees the crowd as you'd find in Lagos, but they refuse visas there too. In fact, sometimes, we see more approval in Lagos than Abuja.
The key is to do your thing and pray to meet a nice VO. Where you are interviewed doesn't matter.

Good point!

As noted by someone recently, it seems something is amiss. Check the attached mail I received from them yesterday.

Tomorrow is not 11th December as stated in the email. More so , if the embassy is not opening on the dates quoted in the emails sent to respective applicants , the consequence should not be a four-week extension for all. But I suggest we call them today and vehemently emphasize our starting dates. Perhaps they will address the issue.

Good morning all.

Same here. They corrected the error on the subsequent mail.

Well, I called the embassy help desk & they said nothing can be done, that they received notification that the Lagos Consulate would be cancelling some appointments and it's unfortunate mine is among the cancelled appointments.

I told them that my School start date is January 13th and the officer said the embassy would take consideration of all the people whose appointments have been rescheduled, that if I'm not ok with the January 15th day, I can defer my program to Fall 2021.

Mhen, I just tire. Well, I've mailed my school to update them on my current situation.

I really don't know why some appointments should be cancelled. If there are many interviewee on that day, why then, did they release more slots for 4th & 11th 3days ago as seen on this thread?

I'm just tired.

Let's wait and hear from your school. Whatever the agreement is, ensure you have an evidence to present to the Consular, just incase they don't adhere to their promise (at the bolded part). Maybe your school can also extend it for you.
If you chose to defer, still depends on your school and it's rules

It's disappointment that made me start applying for US Schoolz. Please, I need guidance on the FA Application. I need to provide proof for almost $45000 to be issued immigration papers for by IO.
