Googlemechanic: Once again a partially correct Google answer which I have also previously addressed on NL. I suggest you do a little more research. Maybe also gain a little more practical experience. Look at my old posts on the topic and you will see where your answer is incomplete. Tah, tah |

Good evening house. I need some expert opinion on my Honda Civic 07. I noticed a sluggish acceleration when AC is on, especially when moving from a stop. Also the speedometer doesn’t seem to show the true speed value. I can be driving on the expressway on full speed, the speedometer will be around 50-60km/h. I have 2 faults codes relating to faulty o2 sensor and ECT sensor which I’m yet to fix. What could be the cause of the sluggish acceleration and speedometer? 1 Like |

hello Honda elders, Please I need advice on my 06 TSX. The front suspension is messed up I want fix it to top working condition. The other day one of the axles came apart. My main concern is getting fake Chinese knockoffs that wouldnt last or function properly. So please help with the discription/price/location to get fantastic OEMs of basically the axles, suspension springs, stablizers and may be even brake pads... thank you. |

ahmstrng: This is outside my area of expertise as it's more of customization thing. I stay away from things like this. I'm guessing you want HID bulbs with ballad resistors though. Check youtube you should have detailed videos there that tell you everything you need and how to do it. 1 Like |

Good morning house. Greetings to all the bosses. Please I need some expert opinion and advice on my Honda Accord 2007 3.0 V6 model before I go visiting my Kazeem. A friend of mine was test running the car and literally floored the accelerator from stand still, we noticed a serious lag in time engaging from first gear to the next as the car accelerated. When I drive normally I don't feel the delay in engaging gears but when I floor the accelerator, it moves but lags like 3 to 5 seconds before engaging the next gear, what could be the problem? |
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Conner44: 1:03am On Dec 03, 2020 |
Agent8706: The gear is working perfectly. When you’re driving slowly the gear changes as at when due but when you’re driving like you stole it the gear will maximize each gear selection to squeeze out the maximum amount of horsepower available before it switches to the next. 1 Like |

Conner44: Thanks boss! I guess I have nothing to worry about. I had never floored an accelerator to the max before until my friend did it and complained and i tried it myself too. I guess I have nothing to worry about 1 Like |

Good day good people, The gear stick on my 2007 Accord is strong. Selects well, you just have to apply a bit of force to move it around. Has been like this for over a year. Advices please. |

kokaneprodigy:all codes point to electrical check required. Surprised it is not cutting off. Camshaft code is the major culprit. check wiring. Maybe loose or cut somewhere. If not, ECM. |

Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Nobody: 7:34pm On Dec 04, 2020 |
Structuralman:Would inspect them, though I changed one recently. I also believe a faulty engine seat should make the engine vibrate or shake on rough roads too. Car runs smoothly on rough roads even with AC on, vibration starts once you stop with foot on brake while Drive and AC are both engaged, vibration stops once I shift to neutral or park even with AC engaged |

Hello Experts, I just bought a Nigeria Used Honda Civic 2001 with mileage 207k. However, this is my first car and I know nothing about cars aside from what I read here online. Please recommend a Honda Specialist in Ibadan (where I reside) where I can do complete checks and maintenance on my Honda Civic 01. Thanks 1 Like
