Week 20. Work has begun on the inward Adeniji lane. Workers have been busy with the removal of the old joints and bearing support just as it was done on the outward lane. The Government asks that you please continue to endure as plans are ever evolving to improving our overall driving experience on Third Mainland Bridge. #tmbrehab https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOlLB4Zs4mo https://twitter.com/mr_jagss/status/1334405206612856834?s=21

A stich in time saves nine. If they had known the Covid-19 lockdown would last that long, they would have started the rehabilitation earlier. We are still q developing country, it wouldn't take this long if it was China or Germany doing this. I would not be surprised if misappropriation of fund is one of the reason that makes the revamping so long. But it is better to take that long than to face the imminent danger. 1 Like |
