Arteta and the Board are a very lucky the fans have been away because they would have not tolerated this Ozil nonsense. Ozil has like a cult following with the fans..They are very vocal!!!
I started believing in UK fans when wengay was throwing snide remarks at them
They left the stadium for him
They were scammed by kroenke and his son, I'm sure they are waiting till covid-19 is over grin

I said the same thing, the fans would have given Artera heat they gave Emery last year.

Arteta won the F.A cup and community shield in less than a year as a rookie manager. Giving him the same heat as Good Ebening would make little or no sense

I don’t understand why the UK government only allowed Arsenal to welcome just 2,000 fans in a 60k seater stadium. At least, considering the size of the stadium, 10k fans should have been allowed

He scored a screamer; the keeper had no chance at all

3-1

Body builder blocked 2 shots before the 3rd attempt went in.

Mari.. He has been stable, timely with his tackle and positioning.

Niles is another that has impressed me. He is playing as a CM and boy has been good. He just provided the assist for ESR

Niles will even offer us more in comparison to Xhaka in that CM role.

I am actually asking who is better between the two.

If only they can transfer their Europa performance to EPL...

Ehnnnn!!!!!! Gabriel all the way.. We may have not seen much of Mari but from what I have seen from both, Gabriel is above Mari. Gab is one of the best defenders in the EPL.. If a sabi coach catch Gab ehn?

A Gab/ Mari combination is an interesting option.. issue is they are both left dominant defenders.

balogun awarness level as a striker is top notch. I enjoyed his brief cameo on the pitch. I believe that if he continue like this, he might displace nkeitah as the second choice attacker sooner rather than later

Laca's performance at attacking midfield is about his best this season. Amongst all our players he seems best suited to that role. I am happy he is evolving. Since he is not scoring he can be creating, something I know won't be a problem for him as he plays well when he is angry.

I don't know whatever was said to Pepe and by whom, but it seems he's been out to redeem his almost ending Arsenal career this last week or two. I just hope this Europa league form follows him into the EPL when next he's eligible to play.

I mean seeing him take a run at defenders, reducing his needless “drimbles “, tracking back to support the full backs and attempting shots on goal has been refreshing to watch.

I know myself and other fans have called him “dirty “ and “irredeemable waste of money “ , but honestly for the sake of the club it will be a good thing if he keeps up this energy and replicate same in the EPL. It will go a long way to help us

Not when Spurs are topping the table, not when the Bpl trophy they so desire is far out, not when they are experiencing the worst start ever after having strengthened in 2 Twindows.

All these Rookie stuffs don't hold water, Lampard, Ole, Gerrard, Zidane never had it this worse when they started.

Arsenal fans are the most impatient, they boycotted Emirates, displayed Wenger out placards and eventually got him sacked after he won 2 trophies in 2017.

Lampard and Ole have the cash,Zidane inherited a very very decent squad. .Gerrard is coaching a top team in Scotland.
I am not trying to make excuse but Arteta will only work well in a good environment.
And who said Zidane is not having it tough? Baba have the next four matches to redeem himself.

Why do i think he will score more as an AM? He is probably our best shooter and playing with his back to goal has kind of limited that ability. As an AM now,he will be playing with the net in his front. .lol

Arteta should not try Xhaka and Dani in midfield against the spurs. Never in a donkey years will they be able to handle Ndombele and Sissoko.

Whatever point u are trying to make, the bold part of Ur post just makes it difficult to see the point.

You mention a Lampard who has been a coach for almost 3 years and has no trophy to show. Ole is also in Lampard's whatsapp group and then Gerrard that is coaching in the Scottish league ( and still hasn't won a trophy as we speak)

Whether u agree or not, Arteta winning a trophy and following it up with EPL super cup ( Community shield) in his first season in charge as a coach of a premier league club like arsenal that last won a cup under Wenger has bought him enough time as is permissible. That sets him apart from every of those people you mentioned.

It is a known fact he's not playing the best of football now, but I think it makes no sense calling for his sack/replacement when from the onset it's obvious the club opting for him was a show of an attempt to rebuild from the scratch.

The same Lampard u are here referencing was almost not going to qualify for champions league last year until other top 6 times began faltering and dropping by the way side. So many Chelsea fans called for his sack as well.

Me too, I hope he continues to improve and work.on himself. That's the kind of attitude that should be welcomed; knowing all is not well with his game play on the pitch and putting in efforts to be a better player.

It is good that most Arsenal fans want Arteta to stay on despite our bad performances in the league. We are getting more matured. smiley

Pepe is in strong contention to start invthe league when he returns. Also I don't mind trying out Lacazette in AM Vs Spurs. It will come as a surprise for Jose.
