Oga, you go like wahala pass trouble ooo. In your defense, person just correct you, you still dey act incorrigible. No be that same "worthless" paper give you access to the UK and your acclaimed vast travels. Oga, you can't be more British than a Briton. You're still a Nigerian. If the passport and invariably the country is "worthless", why not renounce your citizenship? With such mindset on a large scale, Nigeria would have a longer route to progress. This is part of the mental revolution we need. TheGuyFromHR: 1 Like |

Lexusgs430: CBN is trying hard to quiet down the noise instead of getting to the root and fixing the economy...... at least it helped with the initial noise and forex fell. Now today forex is going up again, let see which measure CBN go throw next week and the next week and the next . Till den we remain hopeful 1 Like |

If you’re asking if it means an approval or denial, you or anyone else wouldn’t know until you pick up your passport. All the best. RetiredHoodlum: 2 Likes |

One of you lovely people suggested old kent road for lipsmacking fingerlicking food in london. I am here to offer a review. Thank you so much for suggesting this. I was bone tired and very home sick and this was exactly what I needed. With that said, if your eyes are bigger than your belly like me,it can quickly add up to a nice big bill. I also noticed I had diarrhoea every day. on further I investigation I discovered that they all were rated 3 by Food standards. I was concerned but wetin I go do. Efo riro and jellof rice 10/10. Suya, isi ewu, onugbu soup 2/10 no matter who i ordered from. If I had this to do over, maybe I would have done a more diligent fact finding. probably wouldn't have ordered off just eat. I probably wouldn't be doing this again as it was a bittersweet experience for me. 2 Likes |

For those coming into the uk newly, I made a mistake that almost cost me a good job I got just few weeks after I got here. It wasn't really a mistake because I didn't know it was compulsory. Once you are out of quarantine and your visa says you can work, start processing you NI number. (if it didn't come with your brp card) I'm on tier 4 dependent visa. The company almost reversed their offer letter when I could not provide my NI. God intervened and I’m starting on Monday. In the other news, I have naira in exchange for pounds if anyone interested. 6 Likes |

Permit me house this evening to modify this old time song just for the moment. Falling down, down, down, Falling down, down, down, All the powerful currencies of the world (£ and $) are falling down, Me as I dey here I dey smile, I dey thank God everyday, All the powerful currencies of the world are falling down. I have just checked abokifx (BDC rate) this evening and it is 565 buy and 530 (100 Naira drop in 24 hours) sell for £1. It is now cheaper to buy forex than to sell it. 500 loading as long as spending restrictions are not lifted from our Naira cards. It seems adversity will finally reset the brain of this government. Back to my hymnal......be still for the power of the Lord is moving across Nigeria! 1 Like |

Chukwuka16: I ain’t no economist, but the bolded sounds like voodoo economics to me. The powerful currencies of the world ARE NOT FALLING against the naira. It’s the Naira that is regaining from its woeful performance. Voodoo economics: At the beginning of this year, £1 = NGN 450 Today, it’s 565. As per your enonometrics, if it ends the year at 500, it’s a Win for the naira. But that’s not true, it will be a lost for the naira, year-on-year. Like I said, I’m not an economist but (IN MY OPINION), this your analogy get K-Leg 3 Likes |
