When I was still around, I used to visit AKS almost every month. In fact that was the Last state I visited before I left Naija.
I was fond of spending weekends with my friends there.
..... a very Peaceful state.

You're sending corpers to go and prostitute in abuja due to high cost of living.

How can a corper cope in lagos ,he'll spend his entire day at traffic even miss cds sef.
Unless you wan stay for island which too expensive for a poor corper feeding on 33k.

I served in nasarawa...they pay 5k to corpers in school...

And d place is fvcking nice....I never regretted serving der

Awwwwwh I’m yet to find anyone who served in Oyo without any Best experience! I’m also yet to get over the beautiful and wonderful experience I had there even though it is over 5years now lol

I served in a very beautiful town - Isemi-Ile.

Those wasters of destinies posted me to Plateau, redeployed me to Ekiti, I redeployed to my number 1 choice, I never regretted doing it.

Abuja is good for any smart, skillful corper.

The accommodation is fair if you don't mind living in the suburbs;

The transportation is fair even if you are staying in Suleja, Bwari or Nyanya, you won't spend more than N1,000 a day;

Opportunities abound if you are smart, early 2010s when I served, nysc allowance N18k, my Office paid N42k, home lesson N6k and at least every week, I get tips like 5k - 7k.

Above all, Abuja people are kind, if you are a truthful person, you can easily get a recommendation for better work.



oga I beg go sit down one place...we are talking about 2020 the hardship coupled with a dead brain as president...u are talking of 2010 when the best president in history of Nigeria ya adua was president..can u compare the cost of living in abuja in 2010 with 2020?.

Nasarrawa is very close to Abuja. Just like Ogun State has good investments due to its nearness to Lagos, so does Nasarrawa for its nearness to Abuja. This state has low cost of living, and it is secure. It is a good choice of the best states to choose for NYSC and make money or get a job.



A large part of this state is Christian, so it won’t be difficult for a Southerner as it is not really a core Islamic state. In some of their towns like Akwanga, majority of the indigenes are Christians. Aside their compatible religion for Nigerians from the south, the state is good for business and jobs. Businesses thrive in this state, especially Agricultural businesses. Their land and weather is good for any form of Agricultural business.

I'm 100% sure the writer have not been in any northern states before, The way you're taught of muslims and north in churches and by your elders was totally wrong cause nobody would disallow you from practicing your religion. North is simple and very easy to live but ask who once lives or serves their.
