Your success after NYSC may not depend on what skills or certifications you acquired during your service year. You can acquire both and still find all useless after NYSC.

I don't want to advise you because life doesn't have formula. But no matter whichever one you decide to acquire, acquire connection.

Secrets

1. Your NYSC uniform is your biggest asset and might be your most useful asset even in ten years to come. Most of us realized that very late. Use it very well. It can give you access to high places and give you contacts. This is the right time to play active micro politics. Organize fellow corpers in your CDS and reach out to prominent people... Embark on a CD project that will get you acquainted to the who is who of Uyo.

2. Akwa Ibom is oil state. Get yourself ashawo girlfriends; they will be a stepping stone to meetings the real men...

3. Hang out. Visit expensive bars, even if you don't have money, your NYSC cap will come to your rescue. Buying just a bottle of water in such places will worth more than buying Moet in ordinary places...

Good day guys, I am currently posted to akwa Ibom and I am at the capital city..... I am not planning of sitting down at home after return from my ppa... I need something to be doing coz I don't want premium tears after it ends.... My service year ends in Oct/ Nov and I want sumtin I can learn within those month and it will be beneficial to my career...

Option 1: Go learn fashion design.. I want to learn ladies own though, I have seen a place but I haven't approached the shop owner yet..

Option 2: Go for those course certification like Human resources management Hrm, HSE, Advanced project mgt, customer service mgt graphics. @ Aftermath consult here in uyo..
